I guess you mean 0:54 right? Yesterday night I started some tests with 5 cars, and I have to say that probably I was wrong about the fact that Porsche (997/RS) are so advantaged. I'm sure that 997 Cup is the easiest to drive in this pack, but with a bit of training and a good setup, I was on the same laptimes even with DBRS9-F430-Lotus. I tried these cars in sequence, and than I restarted by the first, obtaining the same laptimes of both the Porsche. 1st attempt: DBRS9: 54.2 F430: 54.0 911 RS: 53.6 997 Cup: 53.6 Lotus: 53.7 2nd attempt DBRS9: 53.5 F430: 53.5 When I have some free time, I will try again 991-997 and Lotus for the 2nd attempt... These laptimes are with full tank and medium tyres. Unfortunately, I probably can't race this Sunday

Interesting, thanks Manteos.
Some people seem to adapt easily to a variety of cars. I've realised i do struggle with pretty much all of them! Some cars tho i can just drive with few changes tho like 997.

I had a few trial laps and can confirm the RS is slower here and more difficult than the Cup car (997) by about a second or so. No surprise really as I always said it was track dependant.
I'm in the same camp as spanner on this, but I blame it on my revered teamies who always advised me to persevere with the porkas when I started out.

Tyre wear will be my subsequent test Legzy. Here in lime rock will be an hard work for the front/rear left tyres, there are 5 corners to the right and only 1 to the left. Surely the tyre wear is a key factor for a 60 mins race. Maybe this evening after the GTL race, I should be able to do some tests. Cu

From what I have read you can do both if you want but can just do 2 or more tyres or fuel if that's all that's needed.
Anyone know where I can get a template for the Z4?

I hope you're not going to insist on scientifically testing all the facts rumours rubbish I come up with? p.s. H@L, don't listen to him! If we start agreeing that the Porka has no unfair advantage, how will we possibly continue to anoy MJ so hilariously on such a regular basis? p.p.s. Manteos, there's a dozen €'s in it for you if you fake the test results

As we're clearly being persecuted for driving a car we like I managed to try a few last night. It took about 10 laps in the 360 before getting down to 55's but found the car understeer too much. In the 997 for comparison my 2nd timed lap was in the 54's and the car felt quite easy to drive, the rear engine helping to guide the car really sweetly through the first section. However i shall plump with the F430. Its a bit nicer than the 360 and actually feels like the front tyres are in contact with the ground and you can feel what its doing. Getting down to 53.'s helped ( all times with 80L on) EDIT Err the tracks taking a bit to get used, theres definately a corner or two missing in there.

I'll be online tonight trying to find a car that I can be a bit slower in then. Shouldn't be too difficult
