ive been away touring Belgium all week so missed the MJ-porker baiting and surprisingly yes, judging by how little fuel i used in the 911 this week, any advantage in GTR2 is well placed Should be okay to race this sunday, should be fun at LimeRock in this class

Any chance of a clarification of the weather? Not sure GTR2 does snow storms

i just reinstalled the 3 packs (into the correct directory ) but still cant and now can get on the LR server, same boot message the 997cup cars have all lost their skins still. Do i take it they arent being used in the new series? ie we use ye olde (but nicely balanced) 996 cars?

Prepare for castigation by some if you decide to run it though I had a lot of fun trying a few different cars last night. The Exige was slightly mad and a great drive but suffers with severe front left tyre wear for me. The Vertigo was also fun, but much too slow. I enjoyed the Morgan most of all and will probably take that, even if it means me being a bit off the pace.

We will not use a ambient temp of lower than 12 degrees C. Snow will be the equivalent of rain so if it is snowing in real life on Sunday then we will have rain in our sim race. No snow tyres in GTR. i just reinstalled the 3 packs (into the correct directory ) but still cant and now can get on the LR server, same boot message the 997cup cars have all lost their skins still. Do i take it they aren't being used in the new series? ie we use ye olde (but nicely balanced) 996 cars? It sounds like you have a problem there MJ, I am not sure what it could be, sorry.

eek...rain !? at Limerock? already difficult enough with the undulating nature and that bastich tight uphill chicane!! Im with the ALMS guys, i prefer that corner without the chicane. Still amazes me they run LMP1 cars in multi class racing around this place!

So looks like it will be just cold for the race? Is there still a minimum temperature that we run to(15*C from memory) or will it be around 4-6*C?

The Morgan is very slow for me in the rain.....at least 2 secs slower than the 997 in a quick offline test In any case, it's looking like I can't make this one now
