All members welcome.

Grid/server capacity: 25

Practice: 20.00 (25 mins)
Race 1 Qualifying: 20:25 (15 mins)
Race 1: 20:40 20mins, then following shortly afterwards with reverse grid
Race 2: 20mins

Track: Istanbul

Cars allowed: Any car from WTCC06 or WTCC07
Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Weather: DRY
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: www.simracing.org.uk
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Special Notes: The grid procedure for Race 07 events is slightly different from GTL/GTR2. Upon joining the grid, you won't be able to rev your engine until all drivers are present on the grid. Do not attempt to esc back to garage or you will be DQ'd.

Will probably run with a couple of AI to give something for people to race against.

Didnt really know what to set the AI at so left it at 105% but that was clearly too fast. Tried booting them but it just loads another name to keep the number the same so hoped adding 50kg to them would slow them down. Sadly booting one driver meant it added one that was already there.

The two AI drivers with the same mean the results wont import so will try and manually change its name in the results file.

Didnt realise the track was quite so long in WTCC cars, tough race plenty of tyre wear, cars were very tricky at the end. Good race though with nsfast and LAzlow.

Thanks all. Back to Blighty next week with Knockhill.

I didn't know that the AI could be that fast Shocked Great effort by Lazlow to beat them in the first race.  Cool

Good fun racing these cars again last night. Some nice battles with Spanner and (holding up) Lazlow along the way.

Looking forward to the more TC friendly Knockhill next week.

Can't you edit one of the names in the Race/Qual files?
