okay, no probs, was more worried i'd wasted an hour testing it but my setups worked for the others with some minor tweakage. Just ran some laps in the other two stangs available. 1:18.5 in the NKT (so its quicker than the bscc gr 5 car!) 1:19.2 in the Gr2 stangs (guess cos its a couple of years older than the NKT and uses old Firestone tyres, not Dunlops). But i am not much cop in these US muscle cars so sure others will improve on those times. You guys wait until you try to brake on the back straight for the uphill right hander...you have to send a telegram your on your way, jeesh i was standing on my flipping pedals from a long way back !! Did i read right that we 'have' to take the Falcon for at least 9 races?! I've never driven it as i dont like it! Should be parked outside drive in movies, not on a racetrack!

Hmmmh - 1.19.353 so far in the Falcon Weslake Heads, but what a narrow track. Difficult to push these tanks around the corners.

1:17.9 in NTK and 1:18.2 in the '68 Falcon Sprint so far with race fuel. The Falc seems to brake a bit better, and turns in easier for me, but the NTK has a couple of mph more on the back straight.

Yes only the Sprint for this first race. More choices are available after Round 1, depending on your league position.

Sh.. - my bad - so I have to wait al least after this race until I can use it cause then I'll be within final third of league table Sorry for inconveniences caused. To be able to read is a clear advantage

You need to join a decent team that does all the ground work for you Tudor! PS John is currently trying to drag us all towards the 1:16s

I think I'll take the Falcon tomorrow, cause it seems to have a better/easier handling and better brakes. Could be a close one at the end of the pack

just done my first laps ever in a Falcon ..not bad after about 4 years of P&G ! 1:17.7 with half hour race fuel onboard. Brakes are better than the stangs though it still handles like a barge. No good for my bad neck trying to wrestle these lumbering beasts about. :'(

Just managed to sneak an hour testing these cars and they are even worse than I remember No ethusiasm here for this series I'm afraid, despite a great selection of tracks. Unless of course V3 comes out and they manage to produce more believable physics. In the meantime I'll be giving it a miss

and they manage to produce more believable physics. A friend of mine owned a street version Mustang 321 from 71, and believe me, it handled like sh.. Poor steering, poor braking, poor balance, and a poor mans substitute for Alfa Romeo. So maybe the physics aren't that far off after all He would kill me, if he heard me saying that but Alfa Romeo was a pretty exclusive car, before FIAT took over. Hope you change your decision GT, the more the merrier. Stig
