The Radical is at Mosport in public iR this weekend, I tell you, took a few goes to get the hang of T2 (the blind left hander disappearing over & round the lefty, while you go in a straight line towards the welcoming barriers ), but feels like a cracking corner now . Just as a possible help for people, I think this is the version of the track that you need to not cut the exit of the hair pin too close, or it'll have you. Test it before the race to be sure what you can do. We've raced here a few times & I don't think it's caused too much grief previously.

Practise session 1 now has similar weather to what we can expect in the race.
The other sessions are still dry.

Oh dear The lights started off on green when we were waiting on the grid which nearly caught me out...Then I went too early when the counter for the players to join went to 0 instead of the clock starting. Hope my schoolboy error didn't mess anyone else's race up Hope you all have/had a nice race Cya next time

Qually, was fun, had a good battle with TT and a couple of others, but ended up Q6. But b'ah, was having a good race up until lap 11 running in 5th or 6th in a good pack of similar paced racers, but then came around the last corner onto the s/f straight to find a Viper broadside across the track. Dived to the left but still hit his rear quarter hard, putting me into a spin and got bad aero damage that left me with rotten understeer and 30 odd secs behind the rest of the pack :'( It effectively ended my race. I chased on fruitlessly for another 10 laps or so but with nobody within half a minute of me in front or behind it got boring fast. My mind wandered, ran wide at the hairpin and got beached on the kerb...end of.

was going ok at the back of the grid then caught some people up as they tripped up each other, then i had to run wide at the entry to the last corner to avoid someone and slid up the escape road, got back on track and made up some more places when people went off, then went off myself on the fast down hill section at the start of the lap and broke car too bad to get back to the pits

was a great start thanks to 2 ppl getting penalties, then on first lap 1 person went off and held up TT so i got past both to put me in 2nd then spun got hit (sorry JPV my bad couldn't get off track in time.) 2min pit stop due to damage, still soldured on but finished 2laps behind 6th.
See ya next week.

First (and possibly last) race in ages - nice to see so many familiar names. I have enjoyed Mosport since GPL days but it is really easy to make a mistake. The Z4 was fun in the corners but slow on the straight where I was gobbled up easily several times. I was pleased with my consistency and a largely error free race although I lost tons of time with my pit stop compared to others. Enjoy the rest of the season and fingers crossed I shall be able to join in a bit more often soon.
