Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v2 from here, 2.1 patch from here and enable terrain patch.
(4) P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function. You may go as fast as you like in the pits, but please exercise caution. Penalties will be handed out for causing contact in the pit lane. Use your best judgement when making your pitstop during the race.

1:50.4 was the result of my first few attempts in TT mode.

Not sure if I will have any front tyres left by the end of the race.

1:49.3 for me so far race fuel, offline praccy. Nice racetrack this, flowing curves, albeit flat as a pancake.

I have an opticians appointment late on Thursday night. I should be home in time to start the server but just in case I'll set the server with the racenight password on Wednesday night. If I'm not around please forward the sessions as required e.g. practise to qually.

1.53.2 during first test for me today in the BSCC Mustang today with well known problems:
a deep red left front tyre after two or three laps.

Try softening the front suspension by a click. Might help?

reduce the camber to that wheel, check temps across the tyre width and add or remove air as required. Or even stick meds on the front to keep them cool !

thxs for the tips boys and thanks Clive for the eye-opening online lesson just now.

Unfortunately no forther improvement so far - although I changed from BSCC to NTK
Mustang and then to the standard Falcon.

I think I have to modify/change/improve my style of driving for mastering these tanks.

After that I did some laps in my favorite car - the small Simca 1200S Bertone (released over
there for GTR2: http://f1classic.your-talk.com/t9903-release-simca-1200s-bertone-v10-gtl-gtr2)
which I adapted for P&G for my personal use and was able to reach a 1.46.5 !

So I'll work on it.

Really Sorry AV, it seemed a small tap but your car shot off track into the armco. I quit the race in disgust with myself as we were having a good race with Clive too.  Sad

Racing with man-flu wasnt a great idea. I was burning up and doubt i would have lasted full distance with these heavy handed monsters.

At least you finished ahead of me for the points table, small consolation.  :'(

No problem. I was really enjoying the fight. The fact that I was in a faster car enabled me to fight with you faster guys  Smiley
Downside of this format is that I probably have earlier braking points. Probably caught you out.
Would have continued but the engine gave up. No need to quit.

ps. Don't know what kind tires they use in Nebraska but it got The Unbreakable Falcon broken  Shocked

pps. Lapchart has to wait because I am away for a week  Cool

Senseless one for me.
Don't really like the track and don't like the tanks on this track.

Could do whatever I want during quali and race - within the
second lap deep red left front tyre. Found no way against the understeer
in the two about 180° corners.

So after another turner I decided to quit and still watched the racers for a while.

Fascinating to see how Geoffers' Mustang ran like on rails and also fascinating the
different ways of driving of you guys.

Hope to be more competitive the next time.

I'm begining to hate that Falcon Sprint.

Also, I did the same number of laps as Stig and Tony; and in a faster time...............

So why do I finish behind them?  Huh

I was wondering that Clive. I thought it was because we made it to the chequered flag and maybe you didn't and that's taken into account.
