Braked too late for the hairpin, went wide into the grass and then fell off the 3d world and kept falling down forever into nothingness.

I was the only one with a 427 and was too fast to have fun, so used the GTL 320 one which as Bill said, wanders all over the track
and is a pig to drive. managed to not fall off too many times, had some good dicing with Pelle and Hristo and later with Ken
I don't like Cobras anyway and the track was a bit odd. the new versions are less historically correct, but race better.

Sorry to Hristo for cutting across your bows at one point, the green thing went mostly where it wanted and I hardly
ever got the braking quite right anywhere. Was either too early or too late.

Ah yes, fuel... I never trust the fuel in the garage so I usually put more in than it needs, but I finished the race
with just under half a tank.....

Results and Replay now posted.

Thanks to all those who took part. I'll make sure that track version is removed and replaced with a more "race ready" version.

Jeez what a boring circuit. Kept messing up the same two corners on nearly every lap. Swopped places with Eifel several times due to us both having off's/mistakes. Finally lost the will to race and just wanted to finish. So then I run out of fuel  Angry

Not one to be remembered.

Next round couldn't be more different  Wink

Yep - was a bit boring whistling but also a challenge not only concerning the setup of the car.
But I didn't expect at all to see the finish line  Smiley

Was kind of a distant duel with Tony during the whole race.
He made a mistake - I passed; I made a mistake - he passed  blink.

What a pity that you got out of fuel after I passed for good during last lap Sad
- I filled in for 14 laps only and was feeling still very comfortable with it.

Looking forward for more suspense-packed events.

Nevertheless thank you for organizing this event, Tony  Wink

Too many unforced errors resulting in too much time on the grass - one good lap, one bad almost.  Satisfying to set PB in race and finish - rest was carp.  Thanks Tony for promising a different version next time we visit Sebring - problem here is result of typical airfield track, feature less and flat,

Not typical IMO Bill. Other airfield based circuits offer far more interest. This, dare I say it, was typical of N.American airfield racing.

I think we can all agree that this place will be a been there done that thing. Not much to say about this one other than it's the little things that make this group a pleasure to race with. One of them being when Mark Cinderby had a small off and the easiest for him to do was to get back on track right at or just before the apex of a corner and I could see him change direction so to enter the track on the exit of the corner helping to not create a mess up for the rest of the field. It cost him some time and a few spots I think but it's great to see classy moves like that Cool. My race was another task of chasing Ade and at times when Pelle backed off to race a bit. Had a couple of offs early which damaged my front end which seemed to hurt the top end just a bit. Then many more errors but was amazed to be with Ade and Pelle again late in the race. Ade had a small off and was clearly giving me the track to pass but knowing what a crappy drive I was having I just felt that we all had earned ours spots at that late point in the race and just wanted for us all to get to the end. And so we did Grin Thank goodness.. Grats to Matt,Kenn and Pelle for showing us the way Wink.
