All members welcome.

Grid/server capacity: 28

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (26 laps)

Track: Zolder

Cars allowed: BMW 2002tii Download this, Porsche 911 RSR 3.0, Ford Escort RS 2000, Boss 302 Ford Mustang Download this

This race will be run using the UKGTL Skin Pack 1.8.0.0 and the Season 10 Skin Pack which will need to be installed prior to racing.

Drivers are reminded that the maximum number of drives in any car is four. Check your status here

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk GTC
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.
(4) Driver lists can be found on the Championship standings page

Special Notes: None

Cheesy that calms me. Same here. So we'll possibly be the back end of the field  Grin
The only car which I'm able to  master reasonably on this track is the Boss with a pb about
1.57.7 so far (AI in free practice offline around 1.49  Huh ) but it looks like there will be upcoming
problems with the brakes during race.

That makes me feel better about the same time as me in Beemer. Cool

Like Tony, I've never figured how to be really quick at Zolder  Huh. It seems a straightforward track & yet the difference between the aliens & the mere mortals seems to be amplified here.

Anyway, had a great time, battling with Phil's Porsche for virtually the entire race, with Ade involved as well until he dived into the pits, S/G? Unfortunately I had a couple of spins, caught up after the first but the second, with only 4 laps remaining, left me with too much to do & I came in 5th. Was good race Phil & well done with the Porsche, I couldn't keep it on the track here when I tried it!  Sad

Congrats to Hristo, Mark & Berger.  clap clap clap

I was just pleased to get to the end without spinning off too many times. I like the Beemer but it does have a tendency to try to rotate at the least provocation.

Monaco next.......gulp Embarrassed

Quiet chuffed with new PBs in practice, qualifying and race.  The race was usual mixed bag.  Start was reasonable but went too deep into T1 and spun rejoined and started chasing two of the Dummers.  Both in Beemers were racing side by side, holding each other up.  Then one pitted and the other drew away.  SpecialKS had a few offs and I caught him and we had a battle for a while - new PB but I collected a cut track warning. I seemed to let leaders by with less delay but got another cut warning by entering corner off line.  SpecialKS retired and I continued with care until once again moved off line to let someone pass and got stop n go.  I then soldiered on to the flag.
