Thanks Tony for this track/car combo, also for the close racing it was most enjoyable.  First time in ages I have driven a reel of consistent laps; each time one of us ran wide or had a poor corner exit, the other would sneak by.  Fantastic evening for me  rockon makes continuing racing worth while after a run of terrible inconsistent races - shattered  wheelchair with try and post more tomorrow.  rockon

I thought you won, Pelle?! So it was Navin who lagged like crazy. Hope you fix that, Navin, it was impossible to race you and know where exactly your car was. It pretty much cost me a high chance of winning. Grats anyway.

I didn't have any complains during practice or qualy about lagging from anyone. So it's not on my end and I never have any issues with that in the past. Were you not ahead of me when you spun out? Did I hit you from a lag? If so I was totally clear of you from my end. Lagging issues can be caused by many things and I'm fairly sure you know this.. Certainly you would of won the race if the problem didn't exist. I think we know you are the faster driver. Thanks for the fun fellas Smiley

I didn't see Navin lagging last night - didn't see much of Hristo so I can't remember as I was battling with Tony by the time I was lapped.  Hope we didn't delay any lappers too much.

As we only have the one GTL race this week, poor weather and I knew track (although not successful here before) I had time to sort out setup, line and braking points.  Got that "magic lap" in qualifying and made a reasonable start, avoiding problems on opening lap.  Got straight into the groove and was fifth for about 4 or 5 laps until had coming together with Tony dropped 2 places letting him pass.  Then had a couple of laps trying too hard (slower is faster), then got back into groove and managed to stay in it with just minor errors costing tenths of second as opposed to bigger offs costing seconds - my usual race destroying problem.  Don't think I've had such an enjoyable, long intense race for ages - if ever.  Thanks Tony for the good clean race, as usual.  thumbup2 rockon

I saw no lagging from anyone either in praccy, qually or the race. I thought Bill Thomas had the same car as me so was suprised when he was faster on the straights. Did make for some nice racing moments tho as I seemed to be quicker through the twisty bits while Bill could outpace me on the straights. We had some enjoyable scraps and chases for quite a few laps, too bad Kurt couldn't join us. I had unexpectedly set my car up so that any sudden dabs of brake would send me into a spin. Not good. Often I could perform rather neat drifts around the turns but too often I would be too heavy on the brake pedal and off I'd go. Still well done Bill Thomas for the good clean racing.

I spent so much time concentrating of racing and trying to stay in the groove that for the first time since I installed Xd I didn't dare look at it for fear of making error and going off big time.  I was therefore surprised when we lapped you.  In was only in the latter stages I was able to check on my laps completed to see if I could ease back a bit.

Thanks Tony, in fact you had the more nimble Spitfire GT and I had the larger engined GT6.  I guess that's why I could out accelerate you and you catch me through the twisty bits, pity about your setup.  Still all added to the fun, doubt if I've caught up with you if you were on "full song".  Grin

You were the only car who warped like crazy, all others were fine, so it can't be on my end either. All the lapped cars or other cars at the start were perfectly fine, except yours, and that continued so for the whole race.

Whatever the problem was I doubt it will happen again Cool. I give ya a free pass next time  Wink. Seriously I was wondering what was up with you closing the gap to around 2 seconds back(to my XD anyways) and go off track over and over so that had to be frustrating as hell Undecided. But I had no idea that was happening as I haven't had a connection issue in well... years, so call it a one time thing. Next race I'll beware of it possibly if someone chats "lag Navin" or otherwise I would pull out of race like any good chap would Grin.

Yes, hopefully it won't happen next time because it prevents us from having a proper battle. I really thought it was Pelle the whole race, as I must have missed when he dropped back after the start, so I had prepared to blame him instead.  Grin
