WarmUp:
A little lucky Hristo would share his setup, big thanks. Got changed little toe & setup was perfect for me. Drove the entire WarmUp & Qual with race setup (22 laps fuel).
Great surprise I got time under 2 minutes with full tank, but yes, I got an even better time...with cheating. Unfortunately I could not find the spot again to qual. I went out on the grass, had trouble finding the track again, but hey...ready for a new trial & oops, when I drive over the line for the new lap, pops my cheat time up.  

Qual:
Perfect with race fuel.

Race:
I do feel sorry for anyone that they get ruined race already on WarmUp lap...but it is entertaining for replay  
My starting place as number 3 was tricky, I would get hold of Hristo, but without running NRJ of the track & is in the middle of a Big Mac between NRJ & Mark. Brakes too early to T2 & Mark can sneak past...here began a wild close race as NASCAR at its best.   Mark is a little slow out of the turns, but I lose on the Oval & must be in slipstreem. Sry, for the start of the oval...I'm quick on the accelerator again, but come too far up & a little push, damn...totally my fault.  :'(
We lose both a place to Geoffers & I'm trying everything, that we must come up again & catch up the lost...but as the saying: Misfortunes never come singly. On the oval, I suddenly get black screen for 5 seconds   When I get picture back...where is Mark? ...or, I dropped by the server? XD does not work...where I am   After a few laps, XD is back & Mark are in front of me. I feared had caused a crash under black screen. Thank you for waiting, so I got my fourth place back.   ...& Thanks for an exciting race

GTLDK Info: Whole GTLDK is down (black screen?) & emails. I don't know what is wrong. Unfortunately, it looks very bleak right now & I have no info when it's up and running again, hehe...all Servage is down.  

Edit:1185 on server replay...I get caught in 5 Sec in a hole in the middle of the track

Messy event for me

the fence up the banking while also trying to maintain pace lap position, Phil then gets rear ended off onto the

A fine turnout for the first all Cobra race ever at Srouk. And with an unrestricted choice it's not suprising that most drivers chose the raw power of the 427. A tricky beast to drive however as many demonstrated with various trips across grass etc. Actually by the end of the evening I felt a lot more comfortable with the beast and could have gone on a lot longer.
Congrats to Hristo for a masterclass in Cobra taming.

Next time the choice will be restricted but the less powerfull Cobra's are more passive to drive.

It beggars belief that after all the words posted in this thread and the revised race announcement some drivers still apparently failed to realise that the start would be "rolling" and not "standing".

I haven't had the opportunity to watch the replay but I think we all know who the guilty party's are.

I will let them off with a warning this time, but please folk's even if you read nothing else, make sure you look at the race announcement before you turn up on line. It will always have the most up to date information/warnings etc etc.

Any driver who because of a technical failure stops, or who leaves the track (either by mistake or because of a failure), is responsible for rejoining the formation lap safely.
This may mean waiting until the entire field has passed and rejoining in last place.

I had really looked forward to this rolling start...but it was far from what I expected.

Quite challenging but also good fun muscling these beasts around Daytona, really enjoyed it.

Qualified 5th, but left too much of a gap on the pace lap & was already a couple of seconds down on Pelle & Mark at the start. This proved rather fortunate as they tangled going onto the banking on lap 3  (or lap 2 of the actual race!) & I was far enough back to be able to take avoiding action.

Had about a 4s gap ahead to Navin & 5s behind to Mark & Pelle, this stayed the same for several laps until both Mark & Pelle must have made mistakes & the gap behind went up to 12s. This allowed me to concentrate on Navin ahead, but I didn't want to push too hard & make a mistake so couldn't bring the gap down. Only in the last 3-4 laps did I manage to knock about a second off, but Navin was probably easing off a bit by then. 

Congrats to Hristo & Navin.

Couldn't find a reliable and consistent setup.  Sometimes car braked in straight line, others it would unpredictably flip left or right and spin. I just couldn't control it, so I quit.

I have suffered the black screen problem before....Just before my graphics card expired. Either that or you have your PC set to power saving mode and it goes to sleep mid race.....Its worth a look. Again excellent close battle Pelle top driving mate.

  Tough race this one. Qualified P4 on a 2.00 but miles off Hristo's P1 time. I was some what bemused by the rolling start having done this with Simjunkies on a number of occasions. They are not hard you stay in formation at low speed and then slowly build up speed approaching the start line. Having said this Simjunkies run Team Speak so everyone knows whats going on.

I notice that H has only signed for GTL so if he makes it as far as PnG we may be able to strike a deal to renew the old partnership.
