Just finished testing the start and it would seem that the 320/427kW cars have a tendency to spin if the power is applied too vigorously, whereas the 240/261 cars don't.
Since any car can be chosen for this event I will change to a rolling start for this race.
Future races will be tested and a judgement made regarding their start format.

This race is flag started. However the flagman is out of sync with the in-game countdown and you could get a stop/go for a jumped start if you go with the flag. I would strongly suggest that the in-game countdown is switched on for this race.

Thanks, I will practice the use of pitlane speed limiter to make sure all goes fine. As for judging those 20 seconds prior to the s/f line, wouldn't it be better to call a certain point/corner of the track where it should be done? That way everyone would know in advance where to expect the drivers in front of him to turn on their limiters.

Yeah possibly. But if your following you should be aware that it is going to happen and drive accordingly. Maybe the leader could turn his lights on then apply the limiter? BTW the limiter is set to 150kph (90mph) at this circuit.

Ouch, that's rather fast, so if we're going to warm up at 80 km/h and then accelerate to speed limiter of 150 km/h it would be rather weird.

Forget the 80km/h rule. This track is exceptional in that it is mostly oval.

On order to have a rolling start work, EVERYBODY needs to read the rules. No more races using rolling start for me. Stig
