Hey guys. I have managed to get to the lobby but can't see the SROU server on there. Also does anyone have the link for the car unlocker patch? I have looked on nogrip but can't remember what it's called. Thanks.

Well it's running so your looking at the wrong lobby. Your probably looking at he Simbin Lobby. Haven't we been through all this with you before?

Here's the unlock everything link http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=788

Suggest you retrace your tracks through past posts cos the advice will be the same now as it was then.

Ok I've spent the last half hour trying to get this working. I can't the correct answer in any of the posts within GTL or my PM's

I will keep trying and searching other forums but can't promise anything. I will see you when I get it sorted.

I might be getting my GTL and GTR2 muddled up, but have you got it set to simulation mode?

I did look for that but I don't think you can change it in GTL until you are starting a race series or something. There is definitely something I'm forgetting but can't for the life of me figure it out.

Sorry Hristo, I thought I had enough of a gap back to be able to turn around, turns out I didn't - I was just reversing as you came over the crest. Embarrassed

Have you got a LOBBY file in your main folder?

Shame about Hristo's crash. He almost missed Tibs. But how I missed Tibs was miraculous. He flew over the top of my car and I was sure he was going to take me out.

No problem, Tib. For some reason my car went into reverse instead of 1st gear on the start, then I stalled it twice and lost a lot of ground. Tried to make up for it, but it all ended on the exit of Eau Rouge. I could have probably continued, but I wasn't into driving alone for 9 more laps.

As I mentioned this was one of my favorite GPL tracks. I remember doing sub 3.15 laps in the eagle here. Best I got with the cobra was a low 52. The moment I logged into the server, and saw there were no other 427s, except for tibs, I knew it was going to be a race against the clock, and I had to keep my concentration up. I again had a bad start, and fell down to 4th place going into Eau Rouge. But I was patient, I new I had the speed on the straights, and picked up positions, 3rd on the run down to Les Combes, 2nd at Burneville, and took the lead on the Masta straight. After that I managed to stay on the track safely. Went a bit deep a couple of times at Stavelot, and had a close call on the last lap at La Cariere 2, when I went onto the banking.
Grats to Navin and Mark for the podium.

So how far do you get before you run into difficulty? You still see the lobby?
