Moderator's Report

The Mexico racetrack has its T1 drama in every race I did here.
Also in your race there was big drama!

I have to remind you that there are special penalties for the full moderated RED ZONE.
If you are asked for a client replay to submit with your incident report, it could be helpfull if there was eg warp involved!

Server replay time: 0h01m07s

Tristan Bot - Joe Shaw

Tristan has better start on the left side and is about 3 meters in front as they both enter the turn in point for T1.
He pulls to the right but understands parts of a second too late that Joe is still there, he tries to escape a collision by steering to the left, but just a split of a second after that he has contact with Joe and spins.
Joe kept his line on the right side and tried also to avoid a crash by lifting the throttle, luckily he could continue his race unharmed.

"In a corner, after a legitimate overtaking attempt the cars end up side by side. One driver moves over instead of staying on their own side of the track. Contact is made. Penalty for driver that moves over."

Server replay time: 0h20m24s

Alex vs Mark Barresi

Alex follows Mark on the straight and gets overlap by the tow. Mark leaves enough room on the right side, but Alex looses control and slides sideways into Mark.
Unfortunately both cars are out of the race...

Sorry Tristan, we were both in each other's blind spots at the time, have to say I was a little surprised to see your car appear out of the blind spot so close to my left side, I assumed that you would be taking a slightly wider line than that. Still, nice one for recovering for a podium and for fastest lap (and a new Race lap record!). Smiley

Thanks for showing up and making it happen as always everyone, grats podium finishers and survivors, commiserations to those who didn't make it, 'till next time. Smiley

Phew I think we could do with a new "Super Pro" division these days for all these fast boys Wink Drove as hard & consistently as I could all race with no mistakes & ended up 7th hammer So perhaps not the greatest result but enjoyable midfield racing nevertheless. Jumped both Raoni & Clive off the start but just didn't have the pace to stop Clive taking back the place & thereafter followed his Honda closely as it slithered around on the tail of the Barresi Brothers. After their unexpected fraternal fracas at T1 (I also imagined there would be some choice words after that one!) Clive scooted off & I spent pretty much the rest of the race fighting with Natan. That BRM was too quick for me on the straight but I eventually managed to sneak past into 6th when Natan made a slight error at the hairpin. Unfortunately Natan's slipstream had also been helping me to maintain a gap to FMG behind & without that nice juicy tow FMG soon filled my mirrors. With just 2 laps to go I delivered my fastest lap of the race (and new PB) in an effort to keep FMG at bay but the cad decided to deliver his (faster) fastest lap of the race at precisely the same time & nipped ahead. Congrats to Joe, Sven & excellent recovery drive from Tristan.

There is hope yet Al because if I get my way there will be some form of promotion/relegation in the 65's. So finish last and you can drop down and mash the Inters next season! Grin

Juha's position has also been corrected after the server got all confused. Sorry FP, Pod.
