All members welcome.

Grid/server capacity: 28

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (28 laps)

Track: Loch Rannoch (Short) download this

Cars allowed: Triumph TR4  Download this
                     Triumph pack Download this

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk TTT
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page
(4) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Watch out for sheep.

I can't join the server. Every time I try, senyorlobo, eifelblitz and ken dummer keep loading in a loop.
Edit:
It seems every time I tried to join different people were loading in a loop.

Wacky races  Grin
Tried Tr4/GT6/Spit Macau, and was 2 secs quicker in the Spit! so stuck with that.
Syd was quick at the previous event in it. The GT6 is faster on the straights
but the Spit turns in much better, and is rather tail happy though  Shocked

had some fun with Mark for a while until I fell off somewhere, then he pitted for fuel
and I nipped past for 2nd.

I had a very good battle with Ade for more than half of the race, but eventually he went off and subsequently retired, so I just had to bring it home. The track was really challenging in these cars, so it was good fun.

Smiley First part of my race was great as I managed to keep up with H & Ade and even came close to pushing Ade for P2 at one point. Shocked I then hit the bridge at the finish line and spun dropping shed loads of time and bringing Phspok into contention. Tongue  Pulled away again and then just ran at my own pace for the rest of the race......Ade retired at some point and I inherited P2.  Sad Unfortunately on lap 26 the fuel light came on which paniced me as I had fueled the GT6 for 30 laps....Came in for a splash & dash and the pit crew did not want to know so rejoined again still in P2 but not daring to boot it and hoping H would lap me........ Phspok passed me after more mistakes. Shocked....... The fuel light was still on on lap 28 and I finished the race.

In GTL you get two laps on the red fuel light with the car usually running out of fuel during the second lap so I am utterly confused and some what pissed off with this GT6 mod. I would not have expected the fuel light to come on until the end of lap 30 as I had fueled for 30 laps.................. Grin Tony whom do I write to???  Grin Grin Grin

Well done Hristo and Phspok and all finishers.  Wink Thanks for another great track Tony.  Wink
