All members welcome. Grid/server capacity: 28 Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins) Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins) Race: 20:40 (26 laps) Track: Goodwood GP Circuit Download thisCars allowed: Triumph TR4 Download this Triumph pack Download thisCar restrictions: No restrictions Time of Day Setting: 14:00 Start: STANDING Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Server: simracing.org.uk TTT Password: see aboveNotes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page(4) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Special Notes: Flagman start on LH side of track. Advise having countdown turned on.

Thanks Matt. I'll check that before I reset the server tonight.

I have some troubles with GTL. I downloaded the unlock everything patch on nogrip, doing the right procedure and creating a new profile, but every time I try to join your server or even in single player, eventhough the game says that I own 128 cars and they are in my garage, once I select the car I can just drive the Triumph spitfire n° 00 and stop. If I select any other car, I find myself in the damned cockpit of the triumph Spitfire n°00. I installed your mod correctly, even with Duckfreak sounds, repeating the procedure 2 times, but nothing has changed. The same happened once I installed "The Fifties" mod cars, but in this case, the only car I could drive was the Mercedes 300. Then I unistalled all the cars of that mod, and the story repeated itself... I could drive just the Triumph Spitfire n°00. My choice is absolutely forced for tonight's race if someone of you won't have any solution. I will retry later when Tony will restart the server, just to see if I can see the other car models driven by the opponents. Hope to have been clear enough in my explanation...

I repeated the procedure another time, going step by step.
First of all, I installed this one =>Triumph TR4 (v2.5.1.0). I loaded the game, tried it in single player and online on your server, and all worked fine. I can choose every model of Triumph TR4 both offline and online on your server.
Than I installed the Duckfreak sounds (both files), and I can choose every Triumph TR4 without any issue online and offline.
Than I installed the Triumph GT6 and Spitfire (v1.1.0.0). After I installed this one, the troubles restart as I described in my previous post. I can only drive the Spitfire GT n°00. So I guess that there's something wrong in that file. I have a brand new installion with the digital version of GTL, and I didn't modified nothing except for the unlock everything nogrip patch. I repeated the procedure installing the sounds after the Triumph GT6 and Spitfire (v1.1.0.0) file, but nothing changed.
I won't be able to race tonight probably, but I'm just curious to know why this mod doesn't works, and why only for me!

Lots of fun. Thanks. Couldn't hook it up in qualifying but pleased to get a 1:30 in the race. GT6 is very driveable (even if I do so slowly). Kept pace with someone for three laps (which was two more than I expected) and I tried to stay unlapped for 13. Couldn't do it because I took a trip to the gravel and after that the suspension was shot. Hope I didn't get in Andy's way - he crashed just ahead... Nearly took out the leaders bouncing off the tyres so thought it best to quit. Got a nasty cold so I will probably skip tomorrow (As UKGPL's Chief Mod I really ought to be racing the 66's so don't tell ). Can't get better than a 3:10 there anyway so it would be VERY lonely. See how it goes. Cheers, Paul aka Badblood

Don't be sure to be very lonely at the end of the pack tomorrow night - no single lap practiced.

Great fun, but the GT6 tried to kill me yet again!! I was in the lead after battling with Andy and Geoffers then came to a right hander and up she went on two wheels then flipped....Had some good laps with Andy and Syd until Andy crashed out then sat around 25 sec's in front of Syd and 40 sec's behind Geoffers and Hristo for the rest of the race. Congratulations Geoffers on beating Hristo.....No easy task with equal metal. Plus well done Hristo for continuing after your first lap crash a solid P2 finish. PS I used to own a GT6 MkIII in the early 1980's......I wonder if they do one for this mod in red?

Congratulations Geoffers on beating Hristo.....No easy task with equal metal. I didn't exactly beat Hristo, more a case of Hristo beating himself on this occasion. He was definitely the quicker driver but had more off course excursions. The GT6 was good fun around Goodwood, it suits fast flowing tracks. Good battle in the early laps with Mark & Andy until they both went off. Hristo then caught up & we had a good battle for several laps until I spun at the chicane. Hristo waited & we resumed the fight until Hristo went off at Woodcote, so it was my turn to wait. A few more laps & Hristo flipped inexpicably at St Marys, not sure what happened as there is nothing to hit there That left me well in front with a couple of laps left so I just cruised around to the flag. Congrats to Hristo, good recovery drive, & Mark
