All SimRacing.org.uk (and GRC) members welcome! Another Porsche Carrera Cup fun race to test again the rFactor server with as many people as possible (and without 2 copies running on the server). We'll put the server back to 60 driver limit, but leave the max client data rate at 20. If everyone could set their connection rate to ISDN on their client end (done in the network settings in game), that would be a help too. We'll be using the Porsche Carrera Cup mod and the Brands GP addon track again. Date: Friday 6th Jan Practice: 8:15pm (30 mins) Qual: 8:45pm (20 mins - 12 laps max) Warmup: 9:15pm (5 mins) Race: 9:20pm (10 laps) - STANDING START Track: Brands Hatch GP Cars: Porsche Carrera Race Time Of Day Setting: 12:00 Server: SimRacing.org.ukPassword: porscheDownloads LinksrFactor 1040 PatchPorsche Carrera Cup ModBrands Hatch Track

I'll try and make this one, enjoyed last night although I'm a good 5secs off the pace of everyone else. Need to study the replay to see why everyone else is quicker. Has anyone tried the UK Porsche Cup mod? Looks like it uses the German mod but with UK paint schemes and championship rules regarding points etc. Might be worth using this mod rather than the German one, if only because sponsors, team names etc are probably more familiar! Yeah tried the GB version. Very nice too, even better with the familiar cars from the GB series.
My only gripe is that it doesnt recognise the setup files from the german cars, I presume cause the class series is different for GB so you need to copy the setup and it edit it with notepad to change the class to the GB class. Annoying when they are the same cars just with different skins really.

LOL, that's Picnic.
It's a rich Picnic (i.e. one that's cheated to get lots of money), hence Picnic (Rich)

Shark is on the ball as usual, I should probable drop that silly name as I have no intention of winning enough races to buy the cars legitimately
