All members welcome. Grid/server capacity: 28 Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins) Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins) Race: 20:40 (24 laps) Track: Cadwell Park Download thisCars allowed: Any car, once only, from here The real mod 1.0: http://downloads.gamers-crib.com/Sim%20Racing/GTL/Mods/RealMod/RealMod10.exe or here http://www.gamefront.com/files/21168781/RealMod10_exeand last update (to ver 1.3): http://downloads.gamers-crib.com/Sim%20Racing/GTL/Mods/RealMod/RealMod13update.exe or here http://www.gamefront.com/files/21168219/RealMod13update_exeIt's best if you create a standalone GTL install (copy your GTL to a temp folder, rename it e.g. REAL GTL, then copy back to your usual directory. Path the install to the new REAL GTL you have just created). Install ver 1.0 first then update with the ver 1.3 install. Run the sim and purchase the cars. We will not be able to use any skin packs with this mod. Drivers are reminded that the maximum number of drives in any car is One. Check your status hereTime of Day Setting: 14:00 Start: STANDING Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Server: simracing.org.uk RGTL Password: see aboveNotes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. (4) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings pageSpecial Notes: None.

Thanks Bill Thomas, are you sure you don't already have this track installed? I'll ask for a new download link to be set up anyway. EDIT: In the meantime this is the track you need http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=3184

Just a heads up. I was practicing today, and I got two cut track warnings without going off the track with any wheels. First was a t3, the second right turn going up hill. The other one was the left hander downhill, just after the chicane. In both cases I went wide, but didn't go off the track with any part of my car.

I recall strange cut messages before with this circuit. Cuts will be off for the race Syd.

Started from last place but the Jag was fun here. Set new PB, glad to improve over 4 seconds - but - in general - I need more time for private practicing, which is not possible at the moment . In lap 9 I crashed and was down to 1 %. Went to the pits for repair but engine stayed at 1 %, so I tried how long I could stay on track with that. After 1 1/2 more laps I was down to 0 % with overheated engine and had to leave. Grats to the podium and to the winners of the championship and - most of all - thanks for organizing this one, Tony

Great last race of the season. I managed to just beat Navin in the last lap of quali to get P1 in the high 1.35's. Followed by a rubbish start with to much wheel spin I think getting mugged by Navin and Hristo in the Fiat. Passed Hristo in the first few laps then managed to close and pass Navin. I then pushed to hard trying to get a gap on Navin and went off........And that was it I could never get any where close to him again and by the end he had pulled out a 4 second lead. ..... Still it was a great race. Again a big thank you to Tony for organising yet another cracking championship. It's really nice to win this with such talented opposition. It had an element of choosing the right car for the right track which I liked with a little more thinking involved than out right driving skill so full marks Tony........I'm looking forward to the next Real GTL championship already. Oh yes and congratulations to Tony for his very nice 2nd place in the championship overall....Consistency wins championships!
