I raced only the second race with 69x mod. Great battles with Barresi Bros and Goran  Smiley
Toward the end I had the chance to do a move on Mark on the run to 90 when he did an error at Big Bend, but I went too wide on the left hander to not risk a contact and I got the grass of the pit entry. When I rejoined the track just in time for the 90 I felt a little bumb and I think it was Goran that had the worst. Sorry Goran I didn't think you were so close behind.

I raced with my old pc, Athlon64 3400+1Gb RAM+ATIX1950Pro, and I had problems with Pribluda, when I activated it frames drop down about 10/15 fps, so I raced without and here and there I checked who was following me on the straight.

I checked offline the GT and 69x mod with Pribluda and 60 fps and only with 69x I get the drop on fps even if only 5 fps.
Later I did the same test on the new rig i5+4gb RAM+ATIHD5770 and no fps drops at all with Pribluda, but the usual microstutters were worst. I have to put a new Soundcard to get rid of these nasty microstutters with GPL, but I'm too lazy  Grin

This is a confirm that 69x is hard for my old CPU so that Pribluda slow down fps.

Really sorry that I missed these races.
I had driven back home after Christmas with my grandchildren ( exhausted but happy , me and the grandchildren  Grin ) and I was looking forward to some fun races.

But, when I tried to join IGOR....nothing......no internet connection....zilch!!! A quick re-boot....still nothing???!!!

I was too tired to bother investigating last night so this morning I tried again. Maybe my ISP was down last night?....but no that seemd to be OK. My Virgin modem was showing all the correct lights EXCEPT the one indicating "activity", that was totally dead.

Then I recalled that my daughter ( who is home from Hamburg for Christmas) was given an Amazon Kindle as a gift, and had tried to download some books. Fortunately I keep the Windows "System Restore" tool backed up every 5 days and when I ran the last restore point..."Voila"  internet connection OK. Grin

I'm just curious to know if the Amazon Kindle episode could have caused the problem? It seems very unlikely, but I cannot think of anything else that happened over the last 5 days that might have interrupted my normally rock solid connection?

I certainly hope to get involved in the next Ferrari challenge races, but I might have to paint the car white  Roll Eyes

this also confirms that Spa Gt's was graphic card hoggish ,  so my ATI X800GT sucks.

i have 3400mhz / ati radeon x800GT 2Gb ram, no Pribluda

Pentium 4 CPU socket 478 ? if yes ; its not only the old x800GT been a bottleneck .

ATI X800GT on agp slot  ?

In computing terms the X800 and X1950 Pro are both as old as the hills...

I am running the AMD 785G with integrated Radeon HD 4200 and it runs perfectly at full detail. I do have 4 Gb though.

Time for an upgrade boys?
