I have managed a 1.53 so far in the Lola. Wing 8, splitter 3.
I am sure I could go faster with lower wing but, the car becomes too unstable for me when I do.

Good race for me despite the low turn out. That was all thanks to my race long chase with TT. TT started to get a bit of a lead on me in the early few laps then the gap began to get bigger and bigger. I had a slight mistake that almost put me out of the race but, luckily I only lost 4 seconds extra on TT but, I did get aero damage that would cost me 6 seconds pit stop time to repair. By the time TT pitted, he was about 12 seconds ahead I think. I pitted a few laps later and decided to push my luck by not changing tyres and not getting repairs. This was so that I could stay ahead of TT. I came out well ahead but, he closed me down fast and caught me with about 10 - 15 mins left in the race. I did everything I could legally do to stop him from passing but, he got me after we went through a couple of corners side by side. I could not keep up after that. Great fun. Good racing TT. Well done all and thanks for attending.

started off ok, but then the sequential gear shifter on my logitech momo started playing up (shifting up several gears every time i tried to change gear), tried holding the gear stick steady for a couple of laps but it still kept catching me out so decided to park at the side of the track and unscrew it and fit it to the other side of the wheel housing, lost a lap but it did the trick, took a few laps to get used to shifting with my left hand instead of my right, but after losing a lap the only way i was going to catch some one was if they crashed! cant wait till xmas as i am getting a G27!

Bad luck, SRW, hope you sort it out soon. Well, that was one of the more interesting races recently. Made a pb in quali which got me pole position. Like H@l said, I was able to pull away a bit and got to about 12 sec to half of the race. Pitted, took fuel and tyres and after all pitstops sorted out I got about 12 sec lead to Jose and was 12 sec behind H@l. Was expecting this from H@l as this was the only thing he could do to stay in front. Must say he was doing a good job with worn tyres. Did you take meds at start? I used softs, both times. Anyway, gap to H@l was comming down nicely then I had some laps where I drove on the edge and my laptimes were 1 sec slower than usual. Graining or something, I guess. Gap went down again and the chase was on. It's much easier to chase a guy you see. When I came into 1 sec it was just picking a place to do it safely. Almost botched that at first try, so I was a bit more careful. Better exit gave me chance to alogside on the outside and on the next corner I was on the inside. Nothing H@l could do except drive me off the road. I got the whole 4 points advantage before the last race so I need to best the bugger him again. Laguna? Hm, tough. Seems like a good finish of the season awaits us.

The promising start didnt quite follow through to the end! With H@L and TT stretching away in front i then had Jose who was slowly getting the hang of it all again once he got pased Rob who did seem to be putting up a rather robust defence. Once again a few off as i was trying to push quite hard, even just wandering off down the straights! Ended up having an early stop as i went off and picked up damage but had to wait till i could put enough in. I had hoped i could claw some time back once everyone stopped and Apex stopped quite late, but mamaged to close him down quite quickly but took my time after a few mistakes However after going off again i was really struggling to concentrate, the last 10-15mins i was struggling to keep my eyes open! Didnt think i was quite that tired. I do find these need alot more concentration compared to the GTs, maybe because the extra speed through the corners. Well i had thought this was the last race but i see there is another round next year Do not use the paddles SRW? I've never felt comfortable using the seq shifters. Hope you enjoy the G27! Bad luck quicksilver hope to see you back soon.
