GTR - Skinned Cars Fun Race

For a bit of fun and to show off people's skinning efforts we're once again running a GTR fun race with any team skinned cars. Anyone who wants to take part will need to download and install the addon cars.

I will post a list of links, at the bottom of this post, to the addon cars people will need to install to take part. If there are other cars that people want to be included please reply to the post with a link to the addon car and when I see new links I'll add them to this original post. Once you've posted a link please don't change the car again before the race. Last day for posting links will be one day before (26th Jan) that gives everyone enough time to download and install additional cars as well as for  us to prepare the server.

It's probably best if you download and install all the cars listed below again even if you have them installed already (as they maybe updated since you installed them last time).

Everyone is welcome and both original cars and skinned cars will be on offer, so take your pick, the more that take skinned cars the better though!

Practice 1: 8:15pm (30 mins)
Qual 2: 8:45pm (25 mins)
Warmup: 9:10pm (2 mins)

Sounds like fun.

But one thing, if I add my CBFR cars, I don't want any old joe driving em. Maybe it can be a normal GT/nGT race with GTR cars and those who submit standalones, drive thier own cars.. but I think the rule ought to be that you can't pick a car that you don't own.

Lol, guys, I'm comp illiterate, so I ask any fellow Penguin to make this stuff for our team. I drive F360 in NGT and Lambo in GT. But I'll try anything for the team and looks sake.

Hey I think Jon is making some skins for your team... it takes quite some time and patience so not something you can just whip up in five mins. It's not for 'looks' sake.. it's for YOUR team, if you take no interest in the team aspect of racing then fine. Personally making trademarks, picking sponsors and schemes eventually building up a recognizable team gives me a alot of satisfaction.

Rich_A, you completely misunderstood my meaning.    Exactly because I (presume to) know how much work comes with the skinning process, I said that if only one skin is made I'll take that particular car so that I can express the high connection to my team. Hell, I'll race the slowest car, if it has my team livery. Proud to be a Penguin, allways! 

I know my english is sometimes off, so I have to correct myself to put it right. I hope I did. 

And, I didn't know Jon is making a skin, I was just hoping that he does. Hope this clears things.

I would have thought Atari would want thier name, as well as thier logo on that car.

Shouldn't be a problem. I'm sure any forum members who turned up in your car would change if asked politely.

So far we only have links for the team shark cars, do we have any more entrants for this? Would be good to get some more skinned cars on track and put up some screenshots somewhere.

NGT Legends skins haven't changed but I haven't done Don's car yet so Shark is holding off posting the link.

If I don't get Don's car done tomorrow then I guess we need to post the link anyway so everyone has a chance to download.
