wow that was an exciting race! it is so hard to concentrate for 70 mins while driving these cars. i managed to get a couple of hours praccy for this race and was starting to feel quite confident and doing consistent laps without making mistakes. i was in a tight battle with nsfast, i built up a little buffer as he made the odd mistake, but then lost it during my pitstop as i was a bit conservative with the fuel and took on more than i needed. he was right on my tail keeping the pressure on until a couple of mins from the end when he made a mistake and i got a 10 sec gap.i am looking forward to the forthcoming european GTC/LMP2 series, it seems to work well doing the GTC's first then the LMP2's on the same track the week after

Nice race for me. Smiley

I had a big chase all race long with TT. He was in front before the pits and I was in front after the pits.

I had a good battle with SRW as well towards the end, I found it very difficult to pass. Nice driving mate. Sorry about the tap when I did make the move. Sad

Unlucky Matteo. Well done TT for the recovery of a tank slapper on lap 9. I did the exact same on lap 32 or 33 ish. Cheesy

Well done on the championship TT. It does not get much closer than that. Grin

Thanks for racing this season all. I have loved the cars and have had some great fights. Awesome!

Damn! A never ending quali-race for me Grin

I started from the pole with an unexpected amazing time, but as it happens too often to me, I did a huge mistake, putting 2 tyres on the gravel in the left hander after the corkscrew at the 2nd lap... stupid Manteos!

The result was a puncture to my right tyre, and aero damage for 12 seconds, that I immediately repaired with a pit stop. I reset my mind, and I started to push as a devil for the rest of the race, gaining almost a second every lap by the leading duet. Unfortunately when I leaved the pit, the gap was over 1 min, and I knew that it would have been quite impossible to replace it, but I didn't give up til the end. Lap after lap I was managing a great pace, til I met some other drivers to fight with. Great duels with every driver I met on my road, with only a small contact with srw. I don't know if my manouvre was a bit overambitious, but I guess that I was just side by side on the inside line in that corner, so probably I was only a bit rude during the braking, but fair in my opinion, cause I kept my car on the inside line. However I must check the replay, and in case I was wrong I apologize right now Undecided
In the last part of the race, I had some funny moment with Apex Grin I always found his car spun in the corscrew downhill, without any chance to avoid him, for about 3 times in 10-15 laps... It seems we had a magnet on our cars  Grin Grin After these contacts, the car was less drivable, but it didn't changed the history of my race. Probably I would have been able to see TT car during the last laps, but without any chance to attack him. It would have been a real fun to mingle in the battle, cause I could become the judge of the champ gaining the second position on TT. As ever, we will never know it, and your battle was the right end of this season Wink Good Job guys Smiley

Grats to TT for the championship, and H@l for 2nd... that was really close  Grin
I'm happy with my 3rd place considering I had jumped 2 races, and I'm still more happy for the Team Championship Grin Well done Oldies!!! Wink

Thanks to all the people who joined the series. I love prototypes since my first races with the German guys of Pilsbierbude, and they had always produced a great show on the track. I hope you will keep it for the next season of GTR2 Smiley

Thanks to H@l for organizing this series Smiley

Cu soon guys Smiley

I'd like to thank all who participated in driving and organizing these races and making this Championship something special. This mod lifted GTR2 to the next level I think, at least I find it a great addition. Well done H@l for obtaining proper permissions and of course for organizing the whole thing. Smiley

Looking forward to driving these cars again.

Congrats on winning the Drivers championship TT !, Great result, well deserved against strong opposition  thumbup1

I thought i would really enjoy the LMp's but so far, i've just not got into them. I think ive spent too many years now driving the GT cars and they are where i am comfortable at. I'll leave these fast cars to you fast guys...as it should be  Smiley  Multi-class would be nice, though i understand grids are far too small nowadays. How about teaming up with another league as suggested by several in the p&G forum? It could boost numbers nicely.

Long live the king....  Grin
