One fun race with the LMP2s before they get an off season break.

I think a good place to start with the setup is a LeMans setup. Here is mine for the Lola:

Was going to join you for this but my G27 is playing up  Sad

I've posted the problem at NG .....

I've just started having trouble with my G27. After a few corners of racing in GTR2 I lose all steering and most of the ffb, usually after riding a curb. The leds also light up and stay on. The paddles still work ok, but when I steer the car just carries straight on  Huh

That was wicked fun!!

Totally messed up my Qualify so I had to choose to go for a cig before the race or do another lap or 2 and as always cigs win.

the race went pretty well for me, only a few minor mistakes which cost me a total of about 30 seconds for the whole race so really can't complain. That Lola is much better than the Porsche, It's drivable even with splitter at 2 and rear wing at 1 or 2 so will keep using that for the LMP2 races from now on.

Sounds like your PC loses the USB connection, or at least windows loses it, which disconnectsd it from the game.

I was clearly running alot more wing than anyone last night but i think i was pushing too much through the chicanes as i knew that was my only place to gain time which meant the tyres took a bit too much abuse over the race. The Porsche is gutless in comparison to these two, was suffering with traction 'issues' with the rear wearing almost double the soft fronts and making the off camber exit to the 2nd chicane a killer.

Tried keeping up with H@L but was just pushing too much as i also had locking fronts to deal with and ended up dropping back after having to let people last before rejoining but managed to creep back up a bit but as i couldnt draft past SRW down the straight realised i might struggle overtaking.

Nice track, gives you a bit of a breather down the straights!

I didn't try any other car than the first one. Might be time to do it. Smiley
Was on same setup as in LeMans. 1-2 wing, quite hard springs and arbs.
Anyone who wants to try it is welcome. Smiley
