*HEALTH WARNING*

Mondello Park is known to be one of the worst tracks for frame rate whether you're on-line or off-line. You may want to think about tweaking graphics settings down for this race to compensate.

Thanks for the warning. If you would set the race to be held at night my graphic would most probably just stop. 10 year old Nascar game looks better then my GTL with everything on low and I still get 20 fps on some tracks... the most advanced graphic engine my a**.   Cheesy

I run Mondello on medium circuit detail otherwise I get big drops like from 70 to 30!! Which is no good at all seen as I cap frames at 50 using vsync on and 50hz.. I hope GTR2 is much better at managing resources, GTL seems a bit rushed and unfinished imo.

Had a bit of practice round here yesterday in the Mini as I hadn't driven the International track.

Managed to get down to a 2:04 which wasn't too horrible looking at the GTL Rank times.

Don't like this track though, it all looks the same and I forget where I am!  Roll Eyes

I scraped a 2:03.X in a Cortina and Alfa. Will hopefully turn up to this one if the computer is free (!), probably taking the Cortina because it's just so much fun to slide about. I agree about the track. I like either of the shorter versions but this super long one feels like a childs scribble or something!

Some of the RSms guys last night were getting 1:58's in the Alfa, makes my pb of 2:04xx look a bit lame :-(

I think I might take the Abarth so I have a solid excuse for getting my butt kicked!

Don't think we've ever done Mondello before Leuven. I've avoided using it because of the FPS issues.

I got down to 2:00.6 in the Alfa Romeo after I worked out where the hell I was going after about 5 laps. Don't see where there is another 2 seconds though, but there probably is. I'm not racing tonight as I have other stuff to do though anyway.

My mini-Shark server is up if anyone wants to practice on it.

We had a series of night races there on 1st Dec last year. Looks like Leuven achieved a 1:58.3 and I managed 2:00.something in 2 out of the 3 races. We were both using the Alfa.

Some of them was me  Cheesy [RSms]Ruskus. I can tell that the tyres will last 23 laps easily as a did my fastest time of 1:58.7xx in the first to last lap.
