ha, judging by your last few races, you are not from this mortal world either 'Ruskus' ...as for the others, that would be telling...ask Scully and Mulder. In addition to you all being forced to drive the yank jobs, you must also tow a caravan at the same time

If you look at GTL Rank, you'll see that the Cortina is better than the Alfa, and it is in real life as well. I'm no good in it, so I picked the Alfa. And again, I don't see the problem. If there is a open race with all the cars in a class, surely you are able to pick your favourite. And if you want close competitive racing, go for a cuprace, like with the Escorts.
Didn't race last night, but I think the 'problem' is that this is season 0 and the mods want to find out different stuff about this game in league racing. Therefore if everyone picks the same car, there's not much to learn and we might as well skip season 0 . In Fia GT the mc12 got a much smaller wing since otherwise it would have easily won the championship (still did I believe ), if in season 0 it turns out that the Alfa would be 2 secs faster a lap than all other cars... It might get a 2 secs a lap penalty to make the league more competetive for other cars! T

It would be really helpful if people would pick a different car for each event - especially the faster drivers. If everyone takes the Alfa all the time we might as well make it a single marque series and that spoils half the fun.

I understand your point of view. But in a open race you are allowed to pick the car that suits you best don't you, even if it happens to be the fastest. If somebody wants to take a mini or so which is a bit slower, than that is their chioce. I'm gonna swap cars as much as possible in season 0, but in the real season I'm gonna pick the car in which I am fastest.

I tried 3 different cars last night before the anders race, but found them either too un-competitive (for my meagre talents)..ie the Abarth, which i really liked for its quirkiness and cool cockpit, or just too plain boring in sounds and feel...the cortina and the mini. So went back to my sexy red Alfa, which sounds great and i feel good reasonably competitive in Maybe on a twisty circuit i'll try the Abarth out again.

Yes, in a real laegue I expect most drivers will pick the quickest cars, unless there are rules to discourage this. However, so far in S0 we've had the fastest drivers in the fastest cars (Alfas & Cortinas), with some slightly slower drivers in slower cars, so we aren't seeing a true reflection of the performance differences over a race.
