Cars allowed: Any GT1 from the UKGTR car pack v2.15.0.0
Track: Silverstone GP 2011
Race Start Time: 14.00
Weather: DRY.

Tyre wear: normal.
Fuel consumption: x2.
Pit Stops: You must make a minimum of one pit stop during which you must take on at least 1 litre of fuel and/or change at least two tyres. You cannot take a mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

Notes:
(1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
(2) You will not be able to join the server without the car physics pack and track (see links above).
(3) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(4) Please use the Driver Details page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).
(5) The server will be set to 26 slots, not 28.

I hope ill be there for it but cant guarantee it as my GPU is kinda fried :-) got 256MB on board to use btu is really crap lol. ill try though. also while im here I wont be here on sunday 19th ill be too hung over to drive.

2011 Silverstone is on the server now.

As this is a test race for the track can drivers look for any potential issues with the track on and off line please?

Common issues are invisible holes or walls on and around the track and corner cutting detection.

The track seems to end timed races on time so that is a good indication that the track has been well tested all ready.

hmm might be in luck just gonna try it now but got 512mb not 256 got a rating of 4.0 for gaming graphics

Server isnt up. Which version we runnin full or national and why the hell did they want to go and change the track it was fine the way it was.i can play but on minimal graphics lol gonna be another couple weeks till i can afford a new card. gona get the GTX560Ti card

just done some practice laps around the new Silverstone, as a spectator in real life i didnt like the changes to the GP circuit ( standing on the approach to bridge corner was one of my favourite spots , and it is now a mammoth trek if you want to get to the pits to nose around the back of the pit garages)

but going round it in GTR2 in a GT1 i really like it. flows well and plenty of trackside detail as well

Nice to see the new layout in simworld. I had an RL driving experience on the Southern circuit in an F360 last year and that section of this GTR2 circuit seemed eerily familiar when I had a few laps last night. I spotted a bit of a graphics glitch in the pits, but other than that it looks really nice
