Oef this is a long track. Don't know if I can get the time to put down laps in all the cars again. Will cost about 3 mins per lap, which is alot. I'm gonna go in the Mustang because that's the only decent car I haven't driven yet.

Oi Ruskus - so it will be flattops and Supertankers again? I will go with what you will take - got to beat you once

Yup, and that leaves one more race with another car , but no way I'm gonna pick the Abarth or MKII. Not because they are slow, but I can't drive them and they are boring. They are excellent stuff for cup-races.

I presumed GP tracks + mini would challenge my will to live but this might prove interesting. Does offer a good chance of getting a good GTL ranking I bet This ones a bit of fps killer, along main straight, for me.

Ah, was thinking this was the cut down version rather than the full thing ... dunno what I'll take yet, might wait to see what everyone else has taken. Had the Lotus (well it sound a bit more exotic than taking the Cortina!!!) last night, but the Alfa is by far my favorite, might go for the Mini.
See y'all later.

Not going to be able to make the next two races and if the next 2 weeks may be out as well, (shiftwork) boo hiss. may be able to join early in praccy next week but will leave early for someone to race (if that is a no go then tell me!).
Have a good one people

No time to do all the cars, only the Mustang (my car tonight). And I did it in 2:28.885. I have a feeling there is much more to win in this for-an-Alfa-made track.

Well had a little practice today in the cortina, 2:33 seems about average for me, well off the pace again no doubt

I'll be giving the Alfa a go tonight. I'll be interested to see as a part alien / part human from GTR how close I can get to Ruskus, super GTL alien, in his Mustang, although I wont have any practice as usual (yes making excuses already ). I can't work out whether this is a good track for the yank tanks or not as there are quite a few decent stretches where it's big engine can make haste, but also some twisty sections. Personally I really like this track as it has a lot of variation and the field should be a bit more spread than the hectic Magny-Cours.

I'll try a mustang tonight, wasn't much fun in the arbarth last night. Spent more time looking in the mirror/behind view (difficult to see cars at night in the mirror) and trying to get out of the way, than concentrating on my race. Better get some practice in.
Going to set up a practice session on-line now, look in the lobby SimRacing Practice - no password

Thanks Clarey, till what time will it be up and how many players. Me and some teammembers are gonna practice some before the race, might be fun to do it with more UKGTLers.

What a great track! I hadn't driven the full GP before.
Managed a 2:30.5 in the Mini which I'm pretty pleased with, it is outclassed on the straights but not as badly as I expected.
