.....i'm out one more time, disconected juste before the start ...... but also disco during the qualifs ( 4-5 times ! ) evn if I'm doing nothing , I meen Iwas not driving .... just looking in the garage for my consomation ..... not toughing the mouse.....nothing !
....after Opatija ( bigs lags ...loosing fps....)Watkins...( P.P and disco before start ....)....Clermont ( big lags who make me crash ! ).... and now , many disco and no race again for me!!! Huh
....so it's not so fun for me and I decide to stop the champ 65 now....it's sade 'cause there is a good driving level in this champ , but I spend to mutch time to training and race and it seem that the serveur connection don't work well for me !..... Huh

That is a real shame Tris. You are a top driver. Odd that you have trouble with the 65's... I had several discos in qualification tonight as well. Strange.

Given my qualifying results I didn't expect better than an also ran here - After the bump at the end of lap 1 I found myself elevated from 6th on the grid to 1st by the time I crossed the line!
Alex used Ferrari power (and just a spot of drafting Wink) to retake the lead the following lap and I practically handed the race to him a few corners later when I span  Roll Eyes

Luckily I didn't hit anything/one and contined about 3 seconds down, thanks to some blistering driving by Alex the gap stayed hovering between 3/4 seconds until pretty much the halfway point when I started to gain on him slowly - wether I was driving faster or he was starting to suffer I don't know, but as I was getting close enough to reach drafting distance he span at Forrest's Elbow. Some how I managed to drift around him dispite my banzai speed and reclaimed a healthy lead  Grin

Here the story and exitment should have ended except Raoni was now behind me in second and was flying!
As the laps slowly came down so did the gap back to him, I increased my pace and started giving my engine more abuse, Raoni would then answer by upping his pace even more  Shocked

Eventually he started getting close so as I was in a Brabham and at an Australian circuit I chose to employ one of Black Jack's own tricks - I purposly started running 1 or more wheels onto the dirt both inside and outside the track when on the mountain's corners  ninja
While it wouldn't result in stones being thrown at Raoni I reasoned that anything that would help obsure the track behind me had a chance of working to slow him  laugh

It didn't.
And with 2 to go he finally latched right onto the back of me as we entered Conrod straight.
Here I was able to note - as he passed me - that his top gear was slightly shorter than mine (he was running a totally different gear set from what I could hear) which was my only remaining chance of victory.
So I knuckled down behind him for the final lap and did everything I could to remain close for that last blast down Conrod....
And it worked, admittedly it nearly went horribly wrong as I pulled out from behind him on the final brow and ended up sliding onto the grass but I was hurled past and into the lead (just!). I then reasoned that as Raoni was very good under breaking (how?! He races on keys!  wacko) I'd have to perform a do or die late breaking maneuver dispite my problems with the rear brakes at this section of the circuit.
Somehow I managed to pull it off and with a huge drift around the outside of Murrey's I was in the lead as we powered up the finish straight for the last time  angel

Raoni deffinatly had the faster car so I'm very pleased with this win, congrats to Raoni and Alex for 2nd & 3rd, and of course to all who finished - and commiserations to Joe for being in the wrong place at the wrong time Sad

I'm going to have to get me a pair of those lucky "posh socks" Tim. Failing that I might have to resort to King Hiro's lucky gonads (no, just don't ask...)

Not one of my finest hours. I've never really got on with Bathurst so didn't practice beforehand but felt I was actually beginning to get the hang of it in Q. Started 7th which soon became 3rd after the lap 1 hoohah but this was much higher than my pace deserved & there wasn't much I could do to stop both Fulvio & Raoni demoting me to 5th. As the race progressed I began to find some rhythm & began to close again on Fulvio, but before we could really resume our battle I tried a little too hard to get a run on him on the corner that led onto the main straight & clonked the wall lightly which pitched me into a half spin. With a whole gaggle of cars not far behind, that swiftly accounted for another 4 places dropped, as well as a tangle with Mark who got caught up in my mess (apologies Mark). Another self-induced slip dropped me down to 10th & last place, but just before the end Goran took pity on my abject display & threw his car into the wall to allow me back up to the lofty heights of 9th. Congrats to Tim, Raoni & Alex.

Didn't much appreciate being divebombed off the track at the end of lap one, but never mind. Sorry Raoni for driving into you in a hasty attempt to rejoin the race, glad you were able to continue to a podium finish.

Please be careful on the brakes when you're carrying full tanks, especially on cold tires and in a downhill braking area, you don't get any prizes for running out of road on the first lap.  Undecided

Ah well, you can't win them all, well done Tim, Raoni and Alex. Bad luck Tristan, similar thing happened to me last time out. Thoroughly enjoyed Bathurst.

Unfortunately I have not been able to be of the party but Bathurst seemed to me a pretty good track. I made a little practice with lap times just around 2:07 low  Shocked Roll Eyes Tongue Cool

Just a note to say my team mate Clutch was sorry to miss this one as he is in the process of moving house. However he'll be back presumably with a more spacious cockpit, custom built even , who knows Grin

Hi.....about the connections , it will be good to test the serveur before the race ..... in fact , I'v not seen any training serveur on Igor for Mt. Panorama ...  ok ,if  the pro division65 don't need to have a training serveur , ( in my sens it'a a pity ..... surely the accident of the lap 1  should be avoid by some start training all together .....) , 'cause they are pro Grin .... the other aspect is the conections , who can be tested only on the track with some others drivers .... sometimes the problems come from the track and the result is losting some FPS , still drivable .....
.... but , I've never see so mutch problems on line ....even in Porsche Cup ( but it's maby the same serveur !? ) so many lags if you follow somebody ....( my mate Tom stop for this reason :/ )....
... so ...maby somes fine adjustment on the serveur !!??.....it's seem to me anormal that it's work well with Brasil and bad with England ..... Grin

Hi Tris

The server you drove was T7_2 and it is afaik located in Italy.

Maybe we swap the server the next time with the UKGPL_8, if Paul has no objection.

You can test this server tonight in the F2 Cup of BREASTS with 60fpsV2newmod at 20:45 UK time (21:45 CET)

It is of cause very important to find the trouble when things do not work properly but I do not think Tristan`s problem is to be found at the T7_2 server.

Do the problems only occur when you connect to the T7_2 server Tristan, and does it allways occur then? I am no expert in thees matters but if the T7_2 server is to be blamed I think we need others to back it up, and I have not heard of any regular problems with the T7_2 server.
