Moderator's Report

This race had some incidents in the "red zone"
As they were not easy to decide we had to make a majority verdict.

Server replay time: 0h01m00s

Lap1 T2 Alex and Raoni
The point that Alex starts his turn in, Raoni is nowhere near alongside and makes up a huge distance with some late braking to put his car alongside Alex at the moment of contact.
We have this difficult rule about "point of turn in".
The problem is that a car on the outside of the track is absolutely certain to turn in before a car trying a late lunge up the inside and will close the door on a move like Raoni's.
As this was T2 lap 1 Both drivers should have been more careful!

Server replay time: 0h01m15s

Sergio totally misjudges Raoni's braking point.
This was T2 Lap 1 and he just should have been more careful.
Raoni is bumped into the green without the chance to come back!
"The victim made no mistakes and was driving their normal line at normal speed. The shunter made no allowance for the victim whatsoever. The shunter was in full control."

Server replay time: 0h01m20s

After punting Raoni into the forest Sergio bumps over a cone and attempts to rejoin the race. BUT he must have known that there were cars behind him that would be passing. Goran can clearly see Sergio momentarily parked on the outside of the track and takes a tight line into T2 keeping to the inside half of the track. Sergio should have been much more careful with his rejoin and even waited for a clear gap on such a tight bend. Instead, he rejoins the track and even manages to get his car across the midline so that it makes (warp) contact with Goran.
"The rejoining driver was NOT in full control but nevertheless attempted to drive straight back onto the racing line without any consideration for other drivers and contact was made."

As far as I know I'll make the next one - would hate to miss the Ring!
Will be there in May so next race counts as 'practice' Wink

First of all, I've to give my personal apologies to whose I've involved in my incidents (actually I don't remember very well who they were but not lesser they were penalized by me).
Sencond, I think there is a drawback letting all the guys to choose the cars they like to drive on withouth a rule. That because all the guys can go faster on a Lotus than on a Cooper so in this way the Pro could become a single car championship (like PSC to be precise).
I think it should be necessary to have a sort of handicap to maintain the champioship leveled in terms of performances and so giving each one driver the same chances to take a win. I make a simple example, if me and JHally are 2 drivers skilled almost the same (I'm sorry for the "almost"  Juha but I think you are better than me in mod 65), and I use a Lotus while Juha drives a Cooper what do you think it should be the final result of Clouds Vs JHally fight ?  Wink Grin
I've got in this consideration the main goal is to have a balanced champioship but...maybe this is not the main goal of the championship manager as well.

I agree with your evaluation, Axel.
My contact with Raoni was determined only by FOV limit in GPL, no responsibility for us (both have not seen other driver).

Yes Sergio I agree!  Roll Eyes
You have to take in your thoughts that we have allready a handycapped series, as the pros division is raced only by the best drivers...
My idea was that we have a championship where you can drive the car you like, but if you feel to take a Lotus gives you too much of a fortune, you should choose a slower car. If you take the Lotus, you will have the least reliable car too  Grin
In the last seasons there was a much greater gap between the fastest and the slowest drivers!
Look at the standings table  Wink

I only say that if we have a Pro championship in which we would know who is the best Pro driver of the party, then we should have to race all with only one car like in PSC otherwise all the other combinations without an handicap could not represent the best driver of us in this season !
Reliability !?!?!?....when I'm 20 or 30 or more seconds in front of the second driver I could also think to Manage my car and my advantage, don't you think ?  Tongue Wink Grin
