Thanks for hosting this Darren. Until near the end of race 2 I was quite pleased with how I got on. Sadly iR is still stupid and gave me an instant stop&go penalty because I spun off and lost 20 secs finding the track again and then when I served it still insisted it is in the rules you can do a normal pit stop and serve the penalty at the same time. Not in any real world series I know of. Still it's only a game isn't it Please keep announcing the events here as I never visit the iR forums out of choice. Hate their interpretation of what a forum needs to provide its users.

For the 30% of my time where i kept it on the track it was actually quite fun, if VERY frustrating! Dont know how but i was going a lot better in the dark than in the daylight, helped to filter out alot of the visual clues you end up reacting to! Its a shame that the cars in iR are all a bit extreme which means they're tricky for at least somebody. These things were a nightmare with Darrens setup so have no idea how he went so well with it. Thank god Gazza put his setup up, though i'm sure he wasnt that happy when Oily ended up on pole Ford GT seems to be the only semi-sensible car out there at the moment, here's hoping the Caddy isnt so bad.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. Was my setup really that bad? Perhaps I should get in contact with Gazza I'm planning to make Wednesday nights a regular series (starting from next season). Please show your support here

Real life conspired against me (kids not going to bed etc) making it again. It's just a little tough sorting out family stuff then trying to get on line for 8:15 sometimes. I'm sure I'll make some though, please keep up the good work

After a mighty time out from iRacing as a whole ... I'll be driving a Legend this evening.
Looking forward to getting back to some driving finally, after really not being motivated at all over the last couple of months.

Disappointed to have missed this but some friends turned up out of the blue around 7:30 and I couldn't really throw them out. Still safer for all around when I'm not there Hope you had fun.

I think this is the only car in iR that i can just about drive and vaguely get the setup working! Took a while though and didnt help coming out near Iain Mabbot each time i tried to do a lap and work out what i should do at each corner! Races were fun though but randomly peppered with me spinning which didnt help! Everytime i came across Lazlow a well Surprised the legends werent massively different around here either. Thanks for hosting Oily. Looks like i'll be starting my oval liscense at this rate next season as i cant stand the legends.

Despite the inevitable cockups, it was good fun. Nice to get back to racing.
