Very fun race for me. Smiley

I had a great fight in the first half with TT and MJ. Good stuff guys. I managed to get 2 cut warning in the 2nd half and was very close to getting a stop and go for speeding in the pit lane as I came in a bit hot.

You need to do that manual push button start business to be faster in the pit MJ. I did only change front tyres and had no damage but, I did take on about 10L more fuel than I needed.

Berger smashed the lap records for race and qualy I believe, grats Berger.

Well done also TT for 3rd.

Thanks for taking part all, see you at the next race. Smiley

It's been quite a few years coming, but one day, one day, MJ will get the hang of pit stops. laugh
It'll be a sad day of course for the rest of us (one less easy position made Wink)

Thought BiT will have more advantage here, tbh. Undecided Was losing more or gaining as soon as a corner showed up. Of course, it might be 'cause of the setup. Wink Anyways, 2nd quali pos. seems to have been more luck than anything else now. Driving on the edge soon got me two lost positions against H@l and MJ and once they were past I couldn't keep up. Sad Started with meds and I was wondering about weather it was a right decision but what was done... Decided not to change tyres and just get some fuel. Even so MJ went out quicker and Spanner was just behind. Wobbly driving through Eau Rouge and he was past, then after some laps he returned the favour. Wink After Jon quit and MJ managed to get another pitstop Roll Eyes I was 3rd and stayed there to the end despite Spanner being VERY big in my mirrors. Smiley
I wonder about my decision about driving this car for the season, I hope I can do as good as Raikonnen will try to be. Grin

P.S. Berger managed to make me corious about tyres and yes, Legends BiT has Dunlops...  Sad

I do use manual push button ! and had no damage to fix, the stop was fairly spot on, hence why i wondered how you gained so much time. Must be because you only changed 1 set of tyres. I dont know why i was a few litres short on the fuel though, maybe i came in one lap earlier than i meant to as i know my tyres suddenly fell away for grip. Frustrating way to end a race where i had been fighting for 2nd/3rd most of it. Sad

Anyway I decided the stop trying after MJ ran into to me at the hairpin while I was trying to let the leaders through, I ran wide to give him room, but I guess he didn't see i'd lifted off.

Huh? wasnt me! I never had contact with anyone the whole race. Didnt have a scratch on the car. I dont even remember seeing you in the race other than exiting La source where i passed down the right hand side without contact.  Huh

Wow, that was one of the hardest races i've had in a long time, mainly due to having people to race against, pretty much all race. No chance to relax at all, especially when your sometimes pushing them through the corners Grin

Bit disapointed in qually being so far away from MJ who turns up out of the blue andprobably hasnt driven these for a few years Wink But with such a long lap i didnt get my timing right, I messed up an early lap getting distracted by a message popping on screen then with a couple of mins to go realised i wasnt going to complete my out lap and get a flying lap in before the time was up.

I never really felt i got Eau Rouge right all race and i was clearly a sitting duck on the straights as both Apex and Picnic would draft straight past but then they were holding me up as as soon as we got in the corners which made for some interesting times but overall we were pretty close but it was good fun hassling them, trying to get an opening, touring car stylee lol. When Apex pitted i decided i'd stay out longer as i would likely be quicker then than if i stopped and put more fuel (weight) onboard and I was closing Picnic down slowly. Realised it would likely be status-quo if we all stopped for fuel-tyres so decided to not change tyres. Down to luck rather than skill, my tyres were wearing pretty equal front-rear which meant the car was pretty consistent so i thought i'd take the risk. This worked really well with Picnic about 20 secs behind but Apex alot further back Shocked

However i didnt have long before TT was exiting the pits for another manic stint. Though he was faster down the straights by only a few tenths  i seemed alot quicker through the corners so all i could do was try to annoy him under braking and in the corners which involved a few close calls at times. I got completly crossed up into the bus stop, on the kurbs so i didnt mean to flash you TT, its just quite close to my thumb! But then you speared off and slowed so wasnt really sure what happened then Huh

But seeing MJ pitting at the end distracted me a bit too much and TT finally found the boost button as he was straght past but i was welded as much as i could to his bumper. Those last few laps were amazing Shocked I was trying my hardest on the last lap to stick with him on to the back straight ready for the bus stop but was just trying too hard and got out wide, onto the grass coming out of ***** and lost a second, allowing TT an easy run to the end!

Good to see some old faces returning, i hope you stay Smiley

Looking forward to the LMP2's next week

Err how long! i should be working.... hang

Unfortunately I had to miss this one... I was busy during the week end in the Pit Lane of Monza circuit... The new Ferrari 458 Italia driven by Andrea Palma and sponsored by VDA did its debut yesterday, with a 2nd place in race 1 and a 1st place in race 2. Not bad Smiley

Greetings from Monza  Grin Grin
