Moderator's Report

Italian hotshoe Attilio Artiglietti took a narrow win from Flying Finn Juha Halli to establish an early lead in the title battle.

No red zone incidents and no reported incidents. Keep it up chaps :)

How about 45 tokens for the three races. Loyus + Ferrari + Brab or 3 x Ferrari...

Or maybe 42 tokens just to make it harder...

Whatever, we would have to do the tokens manually. That is OK though. I can do that.

Ah, I hadn't thought of that Paul - sounds like it might be a bit fiddly.

OK so expanding on Art's suggestion, how about over the 3 races we can choose:

Group A - Lotus/Eagle - 1 race max, then 1 from group B & 1 from C
Group B - Ferrari/Brabham - 2 races max, then 1 from group C
Group C - Cooper/Honda/BRM - no restriction

Edit: clumsy attempt at clarification of ill-conceived post!

Thanks for all the chassis suggestions guys. Final details will be announced this evening.

Good to see some Privateers entering this Sunday's race but of course the other two rounds will clash with the final two Privateers events. Privateers are very welcome but may be classed as non-scoring in the interest of keeping the points table simple. If interest warrants a second server then Privateers will run on that but we'll see how many more drivers want to race first.

Will turn out for Silverstone as a one off & finish the Season on the Privateers schedule.
Being a non-points scoring entrant is something I'm rather used to.
Assume any Privateers who join on this basis have a free choice of chassis - although I'll stick with the Brabham.

I want to use a car that would give me a chance for victory, but not make it easy, so we can have close racing.

It's been decided that Attilio's suggestion for chassis restrictions will be used. So a driver can choose any chassis but they must use a different chassis for each race.

That might mean we get grids full of Lotuses, Eagles and Ferraris but I don't see that as a problem. The Brabham or even the Cooper might be a good choice at the Brands Indy circuit.

That sounds like a good model, at least for this one. *unlocks the safe to the Lotus keys*

Now stop fighting gentlemen. One key per chassis. Grin

Rumours are circulating that Waza old boy and current Black Night Tim Muttram may be returning too so the quality of the field is sure to be high Smiley

I think I've bodged up something for the pedals here for now - I'm not expecting to be massively fast though as driving from a curved desk means that the gears are no-longer where they're supposed to be!
Very tempted to take a waza-mobile for tonight for old time's sake Wink

We have enough drivers for two servers now so Works drivers will be on GPG and Privateers on T7. Anyone else wanting to race just choose whichever server suits you best.

Just pick any chassis you like Bernie and join T7 as usual.

Privateers are on UKGPL8 now, not T7.
