Down to 1.51-1.52 now consistently Chears hal. Tweeked the rear wing up to 3

Lol thanks for that bum stear! So i thought you had to run low wing at this track and was not happy with the car at all on 8 wing, thankfully H@L says he was running 13! so had to reverse everything i'd done but didnt  seem to be that different with the times, though i could brake lot later and carry more speed though the corners.

Couldnt believe how much faster you can go taking the fuel out for qually! But knew i had the pace to get infront of nsfast and twice i was up but messed up the last corner and the one before, watching the time split! lol

Bit of a lonely race, what i had of it, shadowed nsfast for most of the first half until he fell of, never quite getting close enough, watched the gap behind to Apex and then to nsfast.

But my once rock solid dsl is now pretty flakey since the exchange got upgraded last month so yet again, another race is ruined.  Angry

Started half heartedly anyways as I was almost sure I won't have time to finish the race... I would probably be more careful otherwise, H@l. Seems like your car was faster on straight but too much and I might be able to keep you behind. Well... I hope I'll have enough time for the next race. Smiley

Tried some laps with the two other cars but I can't drive them on the edge, not safely. I feel it's either Lola or nothing. Tongue

A bit lonely race for me, but at least I could try a different strategy this time.
I tried in qualif with 40 litres and soft front/rear tyres, just to see the pace in this configuration. The pace was good, but I strongly guess that my final race time would have been slightly better without changing tyres in this race. The tyre wear was not so high in this track, and I could push a lot even cause I feel quite safe with the car. Evenmore I like this track, and the race of the previous week surely helped a lot, even if I did no training with the proto before the race, and spent about 20 mins before the race to do some laps in row in race trim with the setup I used at Spa, changing only the gear ratio and rear camber.

I escaped by the rest of the group during the first laps, and kept a really good pace for the rest of the race, with only a couple of mistakes during the 39 laps of the race. Then I refueled up to 50 litres, cause I forgot to change my fuel strategy after Spa Roll Eyes, and i did the last 13 laps in qualif mode, pushing a lot to have a comparison with the no change strategy. However the difference is very thin, and I will choose the strategy during the race for the next races, cause it strongly depends on the gap by the other drivers.
Grats to H@l and Clive for the podium, and to all the drivers at the finish line.

I will upload again my setup, if someone want to try it. I hope it will fit even for the Nurburgring track... who knows Roll Eyes

Avoided the little dance moves in the straight ahead of me at the start....and all went reasonably well til the pitstop. I hit the ESC key by accident, not concentrating.....game over.
Ah well...next time.

Bad luck Geoff, pit stops are always the worst part as you dont tend to do many of them, and your always in a hurry to get through it!
