What a load of rubbish. 20 seconds and all over. Started last and some sort of pile up ahead. Took to the grass to avoid the carnage but slid wide and hit a barrier, 3 Wheels left. Enjoyed qually as its years since i've raced Mosport and had just got a new graphical update so the track looked great. Still yet to race it though.... No idea what happened, just a shame i haven't really managed to race in the Championship in literally a couple of months and i'm missing it.

Not really Tim! 2 laps later having taken up Rallycross to avoid you 2, and rejoining just behind Natan. Things were settling down nicely and I was quicker than natan in his BRM , just needed to find a place to make my move. As we crested the top of T2 I was torpedoed by Tristan!! This happened about 1 minute ago, so I am not a happy bunny at the moment. :'( :'(

Very very SORRY to all that my poor driving affected. It looked like a really great Black night night but it was not to be. If Al and/or Evil got to the finish in a good position you are in a really nice position in the championship , grats! If I am to blame anything, and I guess that is allways a good thing it is the fact that i missed out on the pole. It got me a bit too disappointed because I did numerous sub 25 times in the offline practice, so I was not in a good state of mind at the start and then I took the start and relaxed a bit, and lost focus and went wide in T3 end of story. Reading your posting lately, sorry to hear about your missfortune as well Evil I guess the one in the winners circle at the moment is Al, I hope you make it to the finish. Göran

I try a overpass on the top of the hil , we are side by side with Evil Clive , I' m inside but HE don't see me !!!?? ( or don't want to let me pass ?? ).....and He " torpedoed " me !!!...why resisted like this when you see somebody whith more speed than you !??......

I will take this opportunity to more or less Congratulate Al Heller to the season 22 Pro championship!! When I look at the table it seem that if you just get 7Th at Jops you are the champion even if Evil, the one closest, wins. So, this is of cause to make you so nervous that you will miss the last race all together because that is what the rest of us will need to still have a chance. Well Done Al Göran

Yes, indeed it looks like Al will be the champ. and deservedly so, he was always near the front of the field and brought his car home in good points scoring positions. I will still try and push him to the end of the final race, but his record suggests that he will comfortably finish in the top 7.

I will still try and push him to the end of the final race
As Bernie says, you probably need to push him nearer the start of the race

Thanks for the kind congrats guys but of course you know it's not over until the proverbial fat lady sings... and as I've discovered recently GPL has an uncanny knack of biting you on the backside at the most inappropriate moment! After the misery of last week's 66 race, I felt I was overdue a bit of good fortune but perhaps the GPL karma gods overdid it here I just about managed to avoid the pirouetting cars in the Black Night aerial ballet on lap 1 & emerged in 3rd behind Natan & Clive. Behind me, Tristan looked like a man on a mission & once he'd swept past, he & Clive had a short squabble before colliding rather spectacularly at T2. (My screen grab captures the moment "Sputnik Bot" is launched into space... ) Natan was driving well in the lead & with no clear overtaking opportunities or mistakes, I just tried to stay close & keep the pressure on him ready for a big push in the last 10 laps - but just before that his BRM engine let go & handed me 1st place. Sergio had been very quick behind me for much of the race, so I was very relieved to see my teammate Tom appear in my mirrors towards the end & for us to get another Clark Hill 1-2

I have had a chance to look at the replay for this race and I think perhaps that my post immediately after the race was unfair. The frustration of going out of the race and the championship so early probably got the better of me. I knew that Tristan had moved to my left on the exit of T1, but I did not expect him to try a pass into T2!! My apologies to Tristan. I should have been more aware of exactly where Tristan was and maybe taken a defensive line that would have prevented him making that move. Instead I left the door wide open and Tristan tried the pass.

Clive, from my point of view Tristan was faster than you at T1R so he have brought his speed between T1R and T2L taking the place beside you, at that point you had no more possibilities to take a defensive line because Tristan already was where you would have to be. Tristan was overlapping you already exiting from T1R, so there was no more room to make any move for you. The move you made has been tried also by me several times in my races but neither has succeeded without an accident and ultimately I could write a book with the accidents I've been involved and/or I've caused. Lack of surrounding perception is the main cause.
