Mine dropped to desktop  5 laps from the end :'(
Just had the frozen roar of the engine playing on. Bit cheesed off with that one. I hope I didn't ghost for you all.
Anyway apart from that it was great fun battling with H@L and Bergs Cool
Berger, I noticed when you were driving that your brake light was coming on down the straights. Maybe it's something to have a look at, not that we need you to go any quicker Grin

Well done all who took part and the podium Cool

very bad luck you had jon,

did not feel good to win this race, you was much more fast in this track and you was on a easy win.
and yes, i think my brake pedal do have problems, i was sometimes totaly slow in the straights, sometimes not, this did confused me.
but more problem for me in this race was, that i did start with medium in rear and after any laps i did feel already that car is not stabile in rear and in end of 1st stint, car was nearly not controllable,
same in 2nd stint, if jon was after his stop around 4-5 sec. behind me, i did push on limit and was in 1.59.low/1.58.high laptimes, but this was to much, tyre in rear was then often totaly red, sometimes 120° and little more and i did make any mistakes and jon did overtake me easy then, but without mistakes it had only take 2-3 laps more if he had catched me.

speed was ok, but i did to much mistakes in this race, in a track which normaly i do like much.

well done podium

How the heck did you manage to run so fast with what must have been massively overheating medium rear tyres Berger?!! I had to use hards on the rear and flatten out my camber to keep them cool enough !
Amazing pace up front again from the front 4  Shocked

At last i got a top 5 finish! after being robbed of high points in 2 rounds due to fuelling issues. This time i finished with 12L in the car  Smiley

Had a great first 30mins or so chasing ApexUSA and NSfast ahead of me in their bmw's. When Apex stopped i had gotten his lead down to 4 secs and then carried on for another 5 minutes before i made my own stop, which meant i could put less fuel in. I also decided that my tyres could get me to the end with reasonable pace so i didnt change them, making for a nice quick stop that got me out about 15 secs in front of Apex  Smiley ...hurrah, i finally make up positions in a pitstop  Grin
For the last 25mins i just had to keep it smooth and consistent and when Jon had his misfortune i gleefully brought the car home 4th  Smiley

Great challenging track this, the corners are so fast and swooping that you really drive on the edge and the extreme heat added to the test  Cool

Fantastic race.

Sorry to spanner for the wee nudge on turn 1, I thought you were already passed me.

only had 3 hairy moments where I hit the sand with 2 wheels but didn't slow me down much.

I opted to race with medium front and hard rear tires, I decided to keep the fronts and only change the rears and add a wee drop of fuel, but the last couple of laps had catastrophic under-steer on the slower right hand bends but I would have lost a lot more time if I changed the fronts.

I am still not good or fast enough to keep up with most of you, but I am getting round without falling off the track very often and even if I do it doesn't tend to make a huge difference.

Loving that 997. Definitely the best car for me out of the GT2's.

Ci vediamo in bella gente italia. (I hope that is right thanks to Google translator. lol)

That was a difficult race. sweatdrop

I was trying to stay with Jon and Berger and I was able to do just that for a while as they were fighting. I even got past Jon and one point if I remember correctly. It was not long before he got back passed. My strategy of using hard tyres on the front and back was looking good as I did not need to change tyres in the pit. Unfortunately I over ran my pit box in the pit stop and had to go around again and come in to the pits a second time.

I could not recover form that. After my second time in the pit, I came out just behind nsfast. We had a fight for a while then it appeared that nsfast had a slight mistake or something as I was able to pass and had an instant 1 second lead as he recovered.

Jon then lost connection gifting me 2nd.

Grats Berger, unlucky Jon.

Well done all, see at the next one. Smiley

Dont remember anything QS, sure it was me?

Evening to forget really, never was happy round here, struggling under braking into pretty much everywhere. Surprised at my qually, still trying to learn the car! Probably didnt help not actully practising for this before hand so prob. my own fault.

Got caught out early on following nsfast too closely  then fell off a few more times and by that stage was just annoyed with it all s o after losing it again under braking into the tight LHer  in the middle and hitting the barriers decided to quit Sad
