Hi guys,
actually it seems I will be not present to the next 2 races (mod65 at Josp Siffert and PSC at Monza 10K) because I'll be out of home since Tuesday to Saturday evening.
So in this case, I hope you all will have very good races and end of championships.

See you on track for the next series hoping PSC will stay alive because it is the most fun champ I've raced.

Bye

I have a suspicion that I have been "nobbled" by competitors worried about their places in the championship after this final round  Shocked

Someone has slipped a large dose of MAN-FLUE into me over the weekend and quite frankly I feel pretty crap tonight. Sad death

I might start the Jops race, but I doubt that I will be competitive or even finish. Unless the very act of driving GPL takes my mind off how ill I feel  Undecided

Al would have to be more incapacitated than me AND not even turn up to lose this title, but I feel I ought to at least show some effort. So I will put on the fundoshi and white headband, drink 4 litres of Sake, 10 cans of Red Bull and hope to stay awake long enough to at least make my presenve felt. Hopefully not by hitting anyone else..... Roll Eyes

I'll make my apologies and grats now because I suspect that I will just vanish at some point and not be around when the eventual champ is crowned. G'night all and thanks for some super racing throughout this season guys, it was close all the way.  Wink

I practiced a bit for this one. Poor Bot has a handicap with his keydrive at starts ,but his pace was awsome and he passed me after like 6 laps. I didn t dare keep his pace but had a solid gap down to third and figured Bot couldn t keep that pace all race out. At last lap I was 11 secs behind and he could safe it home but did a FL try and Span..Shocked he recovered in front of me and passed the line 2.5 secs in front. The yellow flag I saw blew my FL attempt lol (wich wasn t too smart either but I tried to not take too big chances). Gz for a deserved win Tristan, and Big grats to my Teammate AL who brought home the championship. Gz to us both for getting teamchampionship Wink. comforting after seeing the poor gt teamresults..

Shame we had such a poor turnout for the final round - though I was a bit relieved too because it meant I was virtually guaranteed the 7th place finish I needed for the title. With the team champ too, it's a perfect way to end my most competitive season at UKGPL, especially as I regard 65's as my weakest mod. Of course, the driver's championship only really fell my way because of other people's misfortunes, but I was still very grateful to secure my first "senior" title... not least because I just had to keep up with Goran our new 66 champ Wink Many thanks again to Tom for his unflinching support - I look forward to repaying the favour & judging by Tom's recent results, I suspect that won't be too long... (Just stop working on a Tuesday night Tom!) Thanks for all the great racing & looking forward to next season. Smiley

Congratulations Al on the championship...well deserved mate.  Wink

Apologies for anyone that I held up in Tuesdays race.. I was most definitely not 100% focused and gradually( actually, very quickly  Undecided) lost the ability to drive the Honda at anything like a reasonable pace, so I parked it in the pits and went to bed!!

I had an incident in the early laps with Natan at T2 where I got down the inside but there was suddenly contact half way around the bend. Presumably Natan thought that I was not there? but it unfortunately ended his race. I have not looked through the replay yet and will have a squint at that tonight.

Congratulations Al to the championship, WD.

Thanks Evil, your physical condition gave me 3rd in the championship as I could not make it on my own.

And the Tuesday divisions total winner is also Al because one win and a second is better then one win and a third.

About the race I say only this, I will not make as many mistakes next season so be aware  Grin
