Montjuich Park is a possible track for next season's Works and Privateers series. However some leagues have had problems running it in the past, either with disco's or the graphics being too intensive for some drivers' PCs. Some work has been done since then to solve these issues so I'm running this race as a test. The track can be downloaded here http://montjuich.speedgeezers.net/download.html. PLEASE NOTE there are four different versions, unless you have a powerful PC I strongly suggest you install the LITE version. Guidance from SRMZ says "The STANDARD version should work on systems with a CPU higher than 3Ghz and a medium range graphics card with 256Mb of RAM. If your system has a lower spec than above, we recommend using the LITE version." If you are still experiencing problems then some drivers have found turning off crowd and trees helps the most, whereas lowering the resolution does not. But you may have to experiment to find something that works best for you. In any case this is one of the most beautiful and challenging tracks that GPL has to offer, so please join us for this event. Bernie have you had any problems with this track in offline practice? It's been OK for me so far.

Ross, I tried out the track off line. There was a drop in frame rates at one point but nothing major. Might be me but there doesn't seem to be the usual level of grip & the car slides more than normal. Best lap is a 1.40 which feels slow. Ignoring my lack of skill - its a great track.

I've run with a half dozen cars online, using the 69x and the Lite version of the track. It should be worth a try.

None whatsoever , except from driving it that is , its tricky to drive , some parts look faster than they really are , due I think to gradients and cambers being negative in places . What a buzz it must have been in RL

Wow!! downloaded this track and tried it last night for the first time. A street circuit with serious attitude and very low grip..especially in the braking areas lol. Either that or the barriers are mobile and rush out at passing cars!! I have watched 69 cars lapping here, but 67's are a different proposition altogether. This should be interesting. BTW although I only did about 10 laps, I had no probs off line.

Thanks for the feedback chaps looks promising so far but the real test will be Sunday. Hoping for a decent grid to give this a proper workout.

There's something fishy about that chap's WR times Clive... the 2nd best/nearest times are 8-10 seconds slower for every chassis. So I imagine a piffling 1:30 would be perfectly acceptable
