Season 23 - Historic Trophy

You must complete at least 50% race distance in order to score. Drivers will have a free choice of chassis for the first round.

The top three drivers in the championship may be handicapped. The handicap will only apply if the gap between drivers eligible for handicap and the next placed driver is 8 points or more, the handicapped driver(s) will be limited to Group II or Group I. If the advantage is 16 points or more then the handicap will be Group I only. This applies, in turn, to 3rd over 4th and 2nd over 3rd and 1st over 2nd. Additionally once the handicap applies, higher placed drivers must take a car in a group equal to or lower than the next driver.

To sum up: The three top drivers in the division will be restricted to Group II or I cars, if the point gap is big enough. 8 points for a Group II car and 16 points for a Group I car. For the two last races one and then two worst results are dropped before counting handicap points. This may sound fairly complicated but isn't and handicapped drivers will be notified in the race post.

Date: Every second Tuesday from 19 June 2012
Time: no later then 9:00pm UK Time (30-60 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)

I miss the 66's so will try and make as many as I can - have put <75% but if time is available to me will try and do the lot
