Well Matteo, Stig and Myself played tag for 35 laps, was good fun, and many thanks to Matteo
for offering the VDA server. A support ticket has been raised for our own host By Pete Allnut (picnic)
but I have no news yet.

It seems as though the server came back online at 00:07 this morning.

Thanks for doing the admin Tony.
3 regulars missing, (me included) but looked like Cap7 gave John a good race, great stuff.

I am waiting for v3 to be released, looks quite soon now. I may add one more event for a season finale
and then run as many non champ events as we need to to keep the ball rolling.
Then we can start with some V3 series.  Grin

Good fun, that Smiley Cap & I are always very closely matched. Missed the regulars, if they'd have been there we would have nearly got into double-figures!

Thanks Matt nice combo.  My night was a bit like the Curates Egg - good in parts.  Roll Eyes  Still trying to sort out where all the data is situated when driving,  Huh also a few seconds late on turning off the ignition.  Forgot needed to get rid of refuelling on pit stop or enough for splash and dash.  hammer

Practice went well, able to hang laps together to sort out tyre overheating.  New fastest laps all around, prac/qual/race.  Made good start and ended first lap in 4th but then accelerated too heavy/early and spun onto infield, rejoined in last.  Then I managed to hang together a run of good laps, passing Kurt when he had an off and keeping fairly constant gap behind Alex.  Front tyre wear started to affect my turn in and I ran a bit wide allowing Alex to get away.  About 2/3rds distance I screwed up bit time exiting the last corner hitting the Armco and damaging the front suspension.  :'( I managed to limp back to pits and like Kurt lost a couple of laps for my troubles, rejoined again about 40 odd secs ahead of him and had a steady drive to the end.  An enjoyable evening despite problems - thanks folks.  rockon

Unofficial LapChart

Just realised that this was the last race of the Aussi/NZ season. Looks an aeon ago that I 'won' the first race on an empty track.
Since then only moved backwards to a 6th place just after Tony. Congrats WT. In the team championship somehow managed to win from the Bustards. Yeah!  Grin

Congrats to John, Clive and of course SpecialKS.

Shame Bill, we could have had a good fight. Always kept me eye on the pitboard and noticed you were right on my tail for quite some time. Good drive!

I don't think it is. I'm sure that Matt has at least one more event up his sleeve.
