Moderator's Report

Vallelunga race had another diminishing grid...

Server replay time: 0h00m10s

Fran does the rolling start with overtaking Pedro.
He should have known whom to follow...

Without this action the following incident would not have happened!

Server replay time: 0h02m13s

Fran looses some momentum out of Cimini and Pedro passes him into the following righthander T11R. They go side by side and Pedro keeps the right side, but Fran cuts to the right too...
The rules say:
On a straight, the overtaking car moves out to overtake, maintains his line and has NOT achieved 100% overlap but the overtaken driver moves across into him. Penalty for overtaken driver.

WELCOME to the UKGPL Season 23 - Porsche Super Cup - Race 6

We celebrate our 3rd season with the attractive PSC Team Championship and I hope we will have fair, clean and close racing.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The 6th race of this season will be at Vallelunga 1967, the great challenging italian circuit with bumps and jumps Grin

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
We have the Rolling ZONE for the start where a moderate speed of maximum ~ 75 mph (125 kmh) is required and no overtaking is allowed. (Read the registration thread!)

Guidelines for rolling starts...

The car on pole will lead off the grid and maintain a steady pace for the "rolling zone" around 75 mph (125 kmh)
All drivers should form up in single file behind him leaving 3-4 car lengths between each car.
There is NO OVERTAKING on the "rolling zone".
It is the reponsibility of the lead car to ensure that all drivers are with him as he approaches the final "rolling zone" corner.
Racing and overtaking begin AFTER the exit of the last "rolling zone" corner.

Any driver who loses his position in the "rolling zone", by going off or through contact with another car ( regardless of fault) must rejoin at the back of the field.
Incidents on the "rolling zone" will be fully modded and anyone found to have caused another competitor to lose position through bad driving will be penalised appropriately.
Also, please make sure that you know which car you should be following on the "rolling zone", so that you do NOT get out of position.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

There will be full moderation of lap one Red Zone and reported incidents for the rest of the race.

Please submit incident reports within a week after the race so that the moderators report may be out before the next race.
Full time team drivers have priority access to the server.
Driver lists can be found on the Porsche Super Cup championship standings page.
Please restrict your chat to a minimum!

I expect many screen freezes with this track/mod combination. The track is doubtful, I remember more than half the grid getting freezes in a 65 race we did some time ago, and added the heavy resource usage of the GT mod, the risk is increased even further.

The track is not in any black list... -> srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=4540&hl

There is also a light version available!

I had no freeze with Porsche yet...

Hey guys, my practice server has been opened during evenings since some days but, except Axel, nobody has shown up. Maybe once I've seen a closed server with the Mercaldo bros in a practice session. Why are you so uninterested ?

Hi Sergio. I have voiced my reasons elsewhere earlier for dropping out this time round, but I'm sure more comments will surface in the season review.

But here is one to act as food for thought. Not a single team of three turned up at the last race? This has been an all too frequent occurrence in what is supposed to be a TEAM series.

Uhm...I already said 3 guys/team are too much for me, so teams are almost always missing 1 mate and sometime 2. The only thing I can consider is comparing the PSC championship with the training missions flown in IL-2 1946. People preferred to take a weak airplane instead to take the exact one of the best guy around and being downed from him showing so a weakness of preparation or worst, a weakness of flying ability !!! Roll Eyes Tongue
Unfortunately any simulation game is based on training, training and training. This have to be understood for having a chance to master it.

The PSC is a Team series, or at least it was supposed to be. Check out the participation and turn out of complete teams of three in its first season. Its no suprise that the winning team had all its members turn up at every race. Something went wrong last and the problem persists this season. People are treating this as individuals with no regard whatsover for teams. Its not training, training, training that is required. Its teamate 1, 2 and 3 that are required to have a chance of winning!

Yes it is but...I don't want this series became too much competitive for many guys and over all it is difficult for 3 guys to be always present contemporarily, at least it seems so.

Anyway you can suggest different things!

Freeze Sad

Sorry Francesco for the contact in the 1e lap.
There is no overtaking allowed in rolling zone and you should have been behind me.
When you made a mistake I made a go for it, and eat dust from Axels car.

Sorry to see so little competers left ............only 8 Huh??

Cu next time.
