Thanks for this event Tony, choice of car bit of a no brainer.  No way am I a good enough driver to pass and battle with quicksilver384 for a hand full of laps and then draw away, the fastest lap tells the tale.

Disappointed, firstly having just set a 1:43, Microsoft started their 15th of month windows update (must sort priorities) this dumped me, downloaded, installed, changed reg, restarted etc - luckily made the grid: secondly having spent much of race in 5th place screwed it all up with 2 laps to go.

Having said all that it was an exciting and tiring race with action virtually for the whole race.  Made reasonable start from back of grid passed Jules (off track) and quicksilver384 brute power, he was then darting one side, drawing level before the superior Stang power pulled me away for a hand full of laps by which time I started to build up a safe distance and slowly draw away.  Then Jules caught me and we had a long battle before I saw in the mirror his car flying and finally nose diving - guess he hit the bridge support.  Shortly after that Kurt caught up and we had a long battle.  Tyres were getting worn and I was braking earlier and turning in earlier which encouraged Kurt to maintain attack mode, eventually I braked too late and went off and over the bank.  Seemed to have been caught in a rut and it took a while to get the Stang facing the right way and ride the bank and back onto the track by which time Kurt was long gone. and I settled for 6th.

Fairly dull race for me but at least I didn't suffer a disco. Early entertainment with Syd who passed me and I passed him back. He then fell off the track at turn 1. Then Kurt had a go and he also fell of at T1. Quiet race to the flag. Happy with 4th. BTW it looked like Legzy -v- Matt was a great scrap.

Was a good one, Legz fell off and I nipped past, then kept him a few secs behind untill I made errors, then he did.

Bill, why do you allow people to take control of your system. Microsoft believes that the main purpose of Your PC
is to update itself. Tell the mythering haddocks (Antispy/mal/alien invaderware etc) to politely let you know it has patches, rather than wading in
and taking over  hammer

Recon Microsoft is upset because I've not given it priority on firewall and antivirus but made Norton King - Microsoft's revenge, changing my Win 8 upgrade choice (tell me and let me decide when to install).  Huh Roll Eyes devil rockon
