Thanks Tony for link to XD, have installed and lots of useful info, some questions
1 in garage fuel 12.2 galls =14 laps /0:23  in XD fuel 23.9(25.3) is this 23.9 laps or 25.3 laps or something else?
2 what is /0:23?

Not sure about the 0.23 Roger unles it's the amount of time it adds to a pit stop? maybe someone else knows the answer?
In XD setup you can have three fuel info options.

; 0 = Cycle from liters last lap to prediction  every 10 secs (default)
; 1 = Show only liters last lap & average
; 2 = Show only predicted laps based on last lap and average
; option is valid only when general HUD-Mode is not 0

Not sure about the 23.9 (25.3). But I know the first figure is based on your last lap and the figure in brackets is the average of all laps (I think). As it's a large figure I don't think it's a lap time so it must be the number of laps you can do with your current fuel load.

Note that in the .ini file you can adjust the locations on screen where the various info panels are displayed and that you can also toggle them on/off.

Finally don't be suprised if XD shows different fuel/laps to GTL. Trust XD.

It was a last minute decision to change to the Mustang, but without a single lap
of practice and with an improvised setup it was instantly a better drive than with
the Cortina although I was missing about one second per lap.

Got a stop&go for cutting at the outside of the track Huh right behind Druids - an issue
which already forced me to retire from a race a long time ago.
But not this time - rejoined track right behind Bill but he let me pass for second place.
Thanks Bill.
Great event again - unfortunately small turnout for one more time.

Exactly, at least not for fuel. As a race admin it falls upon me to make sure that all of the cars included in a race can manage the distance without needing to refuel. Otherwise it becomes an endurance event which would have an announced pit stop.

I use the clutch pedal Bill  Wink

BTW if you like the Falcon look out for it's muscle bound brother in next seasons V8's  Cool

Thanks Tony - my reaction time must be on the ball then.   thumbup1  Look forward to trying that when the time comes.  Are we having the equivalent GM car (similar to the Aussie V8 Holden) - that should be another exciting car to drive.  rockon

No. It's like the standard Falcon but with a bigger bore engine

Yea but - Wikipedia covers the evolution of the Falcon.  Looks like Aussies introduced larger V8 engine and 4 spd manual gear box as a precursor to Falcon GT.  Car I linked was 1968 model.
