All members welcome.

Grid/server capacity: 28

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (22 laps)

Track: Early Brands Hatch GP Circuit Download this

Cars allowed: Ford Mustang, Lotus Cortina, Austin Mini Cooper, Fiat Abarth from here The Real GTL mod 1.0:
http://downloads.gamers-crib.com/Sim%20Racing/GTL/Mods/RealMod/RealMod10.exe or here http://www.gamefront.com/files/21168781/RealMod10_exe

and update (to ver 1.3): http://downloads.gamers-crib.com/Sim%20Racing/GTL/Mods/RealMod/RealMod13update.exe or here http://www.gamefront.com/files/21168219/RealMod13update_exe

It's best if you create a standalone GTL install (copy your GTL to a temp folder, rename it e.g. REAL GTL, then copy back to your usual directory. Path the install to the new REAL GTL you have just created).  Install ver 1.0 first then update with the ver 1.3 install. Run the sim and purchase the cars.
We will not be able to use any skin packs with this mod.

Time of Day Setting: 15:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk BSCC
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.
(4) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Special Notes: None

Excuse my ignorance but what is the difference to 'vanilla' GTL?

The Real GTL mod is a set of standard TC-65 cars that have had some subtle physics, handling and performance tweaks to make them more competitive with one another. They were principally created for racing in a Nogrip league, but were made available to the wider sim-racing community.
You can not combine standard GTL and Real GTL cars as this causes system instability.

Found a copy of Early Brands at No Grip but when I try to run practice with a Mini get CTD. Any ideas?

Might be nice if drivers choose a different car to the one they took in Round 1. Not a rule, just a suggestion.

It's you Bill Thomas. The Falcon isn't included in this event.

Thanks Tony, missed that it is only "selection" of REAL GTL cars. Grin

Win 8 took dislike to REAL GTL, had to put it in its' place.  Shocked
