Better late than never - tradesmen estimates, bedrooms etc, starts tomorrow.  Roll Eyes :'(

Decided that on a "4 gear track", the D type was the safest bet.  New PB qualifying, reasonable start avoided the other drivers probs got up to 6th or 7th'  The other drivers passed me over a few laps until Jules was closing fast held him off for a couple of corners until out braked my self.  After that trying to use full track width I suddenly lost my judgement of left hand wheels position and had too many offs by the time I was half a minute behind the leaders were with me.  After that I just lost concentration, it's me age y'no,  wheelchair after a couple more disasters I quit.  surrender

This again failed me  >:(drum off the server again :(I would like to ask?you must use the skins???do not you show me three cars on a server  Sad Sad :(This can be a problem...please help Sad Sad Sad
Hi Erik, can you explain again the problem. I'm not clear about what it is your saying.

Hello Tony,Do I have to use the skin as well?because the server does not read you your three cars, drum and for the server Sad
No, still not fully understanding. Drum? Just remove everything Fifties and re-download everything again. Buy the cars that you want to drive. Job done. All the cars live in the GTC-65 folder under a sub-folder call LM55 except for the Mercedes which lives within the Mercedes folder in it's own sub-folder.

Is there an issue with sound with these cars? My engine sound is quite loud, but every time someone got close to me, their engine was all I could hear. It would completely overlap my own engine. When Navin caught me, I almost couldn't hear anything from his engine noise, made a lot of mistakes shifting gears at the wrong time etc for a couple of laps, until finally making a big enough error for him to get by. Other than that it was pretty good race. Never heard of this place, but I really like the combo track-Jag. Early on I found my self in second place. Knowing some faster folks were behind, I decided to ignore XD timings, and just concentrate on the race. I know I start making mistakes when I'm checking on the timings, and the gap is always coming down every lap. So I didn't know what was happening around me. Of course I knew where Navin was when he caught me sometime in the middle of the race. But I was surprised to see I finished second, I never knew Navin retired.
Grats to Mark on the win, and Goldtop, on completing the podium.

I don't know if I would call it an issue Syd. But I agree that the engine sounds are LOUD and you can usually hear an approaching car before you see it. I believe that GTL has a slider control under Audio for other cars engine sounds if it's a problem for you. Other than that there's very little that I can suggest you do.

Someone asked in-game about the tyre choices available. Some cars have two choices, one is called Vintage and the other is a Dunlop 600L 16 CR48. I looked up the latter and it is a Vintage tyre but available today and at over £200 a go they ain't cheap.
I'm not going to rule that either one shouldn't be used so it's still your choice Guy's.

Smiley I think the Dunlop 600L is longer lasting. However mine were on the red at the end of the race and I could not better my PB time done on the Vintage tyres.  Huh Wink
