Times are good. GTs times were similar to the relative times I was getting, but with a bit of
setup I found the 24v '74 was easier to drive on the limit than the Capri which was for me at least
a bit more "wayward" and my times were very close with Capri and 74Beemer. The 75 was nearly a second
faster for me.

I do hope you gentlemen are all keeping two wheels on the track as requested? I can go a couple of seconds
faster if I just drive inside the kerbs with gay abandon  Roll Eyes

Who's Gay Abandon, new driver?

Yes, It's that new girl from Moonbase with Purple hair
Oh, I took some trouble to try to use the same tyres for all cars.
I always took one that was mid range, not the softest.

I forgot to mention an obvious thing. remember to adjust the steer lock, cause most of these setup are meant for a 708° degrees of rotation with the G25. That means if you're with 900°, you have to increase the steer lock (usually to the max value), at the opposite, remember to decrease it a bit. With 708° rotation I usually drive in a range from 25 to 27 degrees of steer lock ingame.

Same thing is needed for the brake bias and duct, cause we all have different braking style.

That's a shame Stig.

Going to be a tough race.  Wouldn't expect many to actually finish it!

The Capri wants to reverse into all the corners and then go back and have another look at them on the way out!

Capri is for me the hardest to keep on the track, and potentially the fastest if you can tame it.
BMW is similar but less of a nutter under braking.
Reduce brake effect as Matteo suggests, and it will become easier to drive
It's a bit like the catehams in Race07, you set the bias reasonably, and the fronts overheat
so the bias changes to the rear and the rears lock spinning you off.

I might be tempted to run a Porka, even though I am quite a bit slower in it, but I have
more chance of finishing the race. If you take the Capri and stuff it into a wall, you will
receive no sympathy  Tongue

Looking forward to joining you again for this, I have tried to get as much practice in as I can and think I'll be going for the RSR, as I find the Capri harder to keep on the track. My best time so far is a late 2:12.  Smiley

good about the corner cutting bit. I fall into bad habits on public servers at the moment (Doni chicane and almost every corner of Enna) by too often getting 4 wheels over the white line!

Good version of melbourne as well  Smiley

Nice race until my tyres went off, after about ten laps! Then the Capri became very unpredictable under braking/turning and I lost loads of places. Had meds on the front too but to no avail. Had some nice scraps with some but the main memory of this race will be how such a nice car became so bad to drive in the space of 19 just laps.
