All members welcome.

Grid/server capacity: 28

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (22 laps)

Track: Istanbul Download this

Cars allowed: Mini Cooper S KAD Works Download this, Ford Escort RS 1600 Download this.

Geoffers has created an alternative default setup for the Mini which I think is better. Contact me if you want to try it or get it HERE

Car restrictions: No Restrictions.

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk MvE
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.
(4) Driver lists can be found on the Championship standings page

Special Notes: The red painted "kerb" areas mark the limit of the track. Drivers who consistently cross these red areas will be penalised.

This is our last race using the Altbierbude lobby.

Next week we use the Simbin lobby.

Please go here for details of how to prepare for the switchover.

Hope to be back for this one - but looks rather unrealistic  Angry

On the other hand: data recovery software tells me that it could be possible to save the lost partition,
so all files still seem to be there, only the partition could not be detected due to a damaged filesystem.

After that I have to format the partition in order to get access to it again (no place left on the rest of
my pc (that particular partition is about 800 mb)), then copy the databack and try to get things
running

Fingers crossed.

Hope you guys had a good race though

Second race in a row in which I get disconnected 4-5 laps from the end. Something's not right, but I have no idea what. Got disconnected in practice as well. I never had such issues in all the races I've done prior to the last 2. Could it be a server setting or issue? Connection seems fine on my end, it just suddenly drops me from the server. No lag or anything to signal it's about to happen.

Grats to goldtop I guess!

Matt did join in the last part of qualy so it could of been his car? You would have to of been on track when he joined for you not to load his car.

I think we can all say that we've been there and it sucks. Especialy as you and GT seemed to be having a massive scrap. Hopefully next week we can knock disco's on the head.

Thought the Q lap time would be a record, but I see it's far from it for the class.  Tongue

Last minute decision to join last night, so Hristo kindly put up a setup for me  thumbup1

Couldn't get near his time in quali, so made a couple of changes for the race to get me off the grid and out of the corners a bit quicker. This worked well as I was able to jump off the line and then control the pace early on, but left me vulnerable in a couple of places. I was just about quick enough to make myself a nuisance and we had an almighty scrap for a few laps and then started to wait for each other as we both made some mistakes.....very good fun H  Cool

Unfortunately the disco fairy dropped by and spoilt the last few laps for us  Sad
