Reasonable idea, not sure I have the time to police it. I am happy to adopt a voluntary guide of benchmarks
if Clive or "people" want to suggest the times though.
1:57 seems to coming out as a target to aim for so far. I would still like to know what as many peoples as possible best times
are in all the cars, pretty please.
Most value for me is to see what cars produce what times with different drivers, my times are usually a good baseline, but I may not
be so good in some cars compared to other poeples spread of times.
In the race as far as I am concerned it's a "fun" race so you take what you want
most help to me is lists of times from different people so I can work out an "average"
for a particular car which I can then use for future planning. I am not going to be able to spend hours testing
for next years events, I will choose a list of cars for a Season for the whole season, and probably at least one series
with different cars each event. a few tenths here or there is not important, all I need to know is which cars
are likely to produce close racing at most tracks
Sometimes it will be a bit dodgy where we have small cars with good brakes and bigger less nimble cars
for me this can make good racing as long as people are sensible, and mostly the people who race here are.
You did used to get Minis battling with Falcons, I am aware of Clive's dislike for this, but some people enjoy it, so
no reason such things shouldn't happen here. IMHO
EDIT:
Bizzare, tried setting star time to 09:00 and 10:00 and it is still dark for prac...
