LOL. I took the view that Phil was reasonable to assume that he had a lead (if slightly dozy) but there was no question of culpability on your part H. I am not sure anyone else would try a pass there though... it's hard enough to carry the speed on the line...

Sure, but if you are in the lead, you are most certain to see at least parts of the other car in your mirrors, not to mention the way the engine sound from the other car is delivered. My point is, unless you're almost 100% sure you have nobody on your side, it's a big risk to change lines. You know about the similar incident with myself and Nathan in the F2 Hockenheim race, the one I appealed for.

I don't think that was quite the same. You never appear in Phil's mirrors and engine note is impossible to tell apart from the other cars because they are so close. I think Phil would acknowledge that he could have been more helpful. I don't think he changed line so much as committed to the racing line which is where the incidents differ IMHO. But, of course, that is only my opinion. Anyway, I take the point!

I think I was in Phil's mirrors a corner or two ago? Surely I must have been behind at some point before making a move, lol. Some incidents should be rewind back a bit in the replay before passing judgement. Also, the similarity between the incidents is that both cars on the inside used the racing line and went towards the outside at corner exit.
