One further clarification - all resets should be followed by a Stop & Go.

A couple of drivers have mentioned the Moon - will try & squeeze in a fun race before Season 24 kicks off.

not to mention my rusty online skills. Wink

still building my new race PC. but this one sems OK for a test run.

so see you all in chat on Sunday eve.

PV.

UKGPL3 is also listening in iGOR - just connect to ukgpl3.dyndns.org and enter the password and away you go...

Race length is set to 30 laps for Int Long with loose grid.

Enjoy it.

Would have been nice if the password was actually posted here. I was late and everyone has gone in, so I couldn't enter because the password is nowhere to be found.  Roll Eyes

It was handed out in the chat before the race.

I pulled out of my race - I just am not with it tonight and cannot keep the car on the track so I retired before I spoiled anyone elses night.

ok, so maybe not entirely in the Christmas spirit Wink   but could have really done with some (other) resets/SnG out there!

Still,  at least that gave plenty of open air to take 3 seconds off my previous PB.

Cheers for the event.

Happy Festivus/Christmas/Holidays all.

Cheers (time for a beer now!),
Dave.

My mechanical genious  was instructed to prepare the transporter + 2 cars for East London  Huh

With this venue in mind ,  he duly set off "down sarf " for the big metropolice armed with winter tyres, smog mask ,  antifreeze , overcoats , wellies ,  jellied eel butties and brown ale , only  to find the proper venue was a bit further south than originally thought .

In spite of the mistery tour we somehow managed to meet up at the correct venue were over a breakfast of "jack the rippers " washed down with  "rosy lea"  I was able to explain to my man just what a merchant banker he was   Roll Eyes

The race was fun and I was doing pretty fine until Lotus elvens ( the educated amongst you will notice the somewhat anogrammatic pun there ) who had been left behind in the lap 1 mele caught up , being the sportsman I am,  I decided it best to let the faster elves through in the hope I could get a tow and they could harry the santas helpers up front . It all went wrong when I began to get to ambitious and did the usual pirroette and par de watsit ( not very pretty )

Was strongly tempted to give the 2 red things a little nudge as they lapped me but didnt want to upset santa at this time of year .

Altogether a fun race , grats to the pods and deserved winners ( even though you did have outside assistance  Wink )

Merry Xmas to all , off to stuff the Turkey now ( if I can hold it down long enough that is )    wheelchair

Just curious. Will there be any conclusion which team has won or is it written down somewhere else?

The result is - quite complicated.
There was an imbalance in the number of cars on track.
One Grid One - 4 Lotus v 5 Ferrari - Lotus won 137 points to 135 points (would have been a bigger margin if Hristo had started, but sort of evened out by Raoni's early retirement)
Grid Two - 6 Lotus v 8 Ferrari. My memory isn't the clearest but I do not recall Jens being picked, so his finish is excluded. Ferrari wins this grid 172 points to 148 points.
Combining the grids Santa's Ferrari's score 307 points to Elves 285 points. If we discard the lowest Ferrari finisher on each grid (same number of entrants scoring points) the Elves win 285 to 281 points.
In conclusion both teams won a grid so I'm calling it a 1 - 1 draw.
Any complaints will be largely ignored - but thank you for your participation!
