Hi everybody !

The great moment came, Mod is at the moment available in the Download Area.

You can consult in detail the functioning of the tool of synchronization Here.
Warning, it is forbidden to use Mod of the 24 hours The Return excepting the frame of this race.
You can however get closer to admins GTWeb to make the request if you want to make it.
We have never refused to give an authorization on a special request but we consider that, regarding the amount of work invested, it is the slightest thing.

The performances of cars were adjusted to have a well-balanced tray, on the other hand it would be possible that an adjustment takes place via an update before the end of the registrations  and the validation of the teams / cars.

Registrations are also opened from now on.
Considering the number of teams / leagues having already announced their participation and even if we shall not take into account it as criterion for the validation of the teams in the event, we ask you to register your teams very quickly because it would not exceed 52 slots initially planned.

For it all the members of your team must be registered on the site via this Procedure.
So Team Manager can proceed to the registration of their team using this Link.

Team Manager is not necessarily a pilot of the team. He will have the responsibility to verify if his team is correctly registered and authenticated on the site by consulting regularly this page which recapitulates Errors of NAME PLR.
If pilots are already registered on the site GTWeb, it is useless to make a second registration. If you forgot your password, simply make the request to admins.

Team Manager can modify the composition at any time until the qualification which will take place on March 14th 2013.

A server will be opened soon with Mod to the address: s1.gtweblive.com
You can visualize laptimes via the link Free Practice #1 on the website.

Good testing all !

Provisional team so far...

  • Spanner
  • Purdie
  • H@L9000
  • Roadrunner
  • Legzy
  • API
  • Gazza
  • Mark J

Was going to commit to a team but it requests your car class selection, so I'll hold off until we have tested them a little (unless anyone who has done this before knows what is best)

I tried the McLaren and it seemed nice and balanced. Competitive times seem to be around 2m20s.... yet to try the 911 et al !

Deja vu with the mod, i thought i still had the last spa round cars installed. Only half a lap in the porsche but felt as good as our GTC version i'd just raced with!

Just stuck our team in on their site. 47 teams registered already!!!

Oops, sorry for jumping in, hadnt noticed your updated post earlier. Car choice isnt fixed, infact team members and car choice wont be tied down till a few weeks before the race.

Your both added so you can jump on the servers anytime. hmm, hadnt realised we had a full team!

Err what class then?

Just had a go in every car for a few laps. I have to say that they're all OK really, though I'd rather stay clear of the Audi, Alpina & Porka (no I'm not winding you up MJ no) for various reasons like tyre wear / boat / engine noise / feels wrong.

That said, I expect there to be a select few plebs driving for other teams at this event, so on reflection I'd rather we did the GT2 class (where we're more in charge of more of the overtaking, rather than having to cross fingers everytime) over GT3.

Porsche was pretty solid last year..i found it ok and im usually not that great with them, that said im not sure how i`d go in the rain (as much as i like it) with it, done 3 laps again just now, 25l on with a 2:20.3 average, so i dont think im far off what i managed in race last year fuel corrected...
Also tried Z4, was rather nice, default setup with 50L 2:24.6 average, pretty much did everything i asked, very few suprises, dont know how much quicker it`d go once sorted out, wouldnt fancy me chances of gettin those guys doin 20`s n 21`s with GT3 thoguh  eek

Will try a few more later on,

Also noticed some teams on the entrylist have 2-3 cars in the same class, obviously may come to nothin come selection time, but somethin worth considering if needs be?

Porsche was pretty solid last year..
I personally disagree, but maybe using it last year is enough of a reason to be adventurous & use something different this time beta1

Groan...not yet another fresh install of GTR2  Roll Eyes already have about 4 versions of it now!
Ta for the info.

Car wise, erm, apart from my obvious preference  Wink i was thinking Fezza or Aston Martin  Smiley But i'd like to see what the cockpit view is from them first.

Ok ok  surrender  Tongue

I`ve been on server tried some cars back to back, Only changed to max revs, Radiator to 3 and brake cooling to 2 on everything..M3 tried some other stuff to make it more drivable...

And so....In last place

M3 2:21.229 - Still scary as ever, will try it on default again at somepoint

Aston 2:20.997 - Pretty steady, nothing to dramatic

458 2:20.925 - Felt quicker, its a bit lively at the rear though

Lambo 2:20.816 - Pretty good all round...good brakes!

and the winner is...

Jag 2:20.396 - Would go faster if i had a clean lap  Wink
