I think I've found my new dry race setup Grin
I just set the brake duct to 1 and BB back a fair bit. Alot more stable and quicker. Will try the others tomorrow.
Goodwork Dan Cool

Hmm...interesting...though duct on 1, would that not fry the brakes on a long run?

TBH I've only done 1 hour stints but I didn't think the temps were too bad and you can brake noticeably later because the brakes aren't stone cold at the big braking points. Then again I have only done the long runs at night when it has been cooler.

Hmm, yes, noticed you were quite late on the brakes looking at your 2:17 lap...

General pointers for all...from what i`ve seen of the test races i probably wouldnt bother with inter`s personally, not sure if some others did, but alot of the quicker guys didnt waste time in finding the gravel when the rain started coming down, same for when it dries out, they for me went back to slicks far to soon...promptly Spa became the worlds most expensive scrap heap, i prefered sticking on wets and using the standing water to control temps, is enough of it for a while as there could be 4-5+ cars off the road at any given time, made up close to 10 places in each of the last two, just because i kept it on the road..

Hard wets are doable on a flooded track but you gotta be careful, only worth it if you know its only a short heavy shower

I can remember last time at Spa and it was just drizzling for ages and getting wetter then very slowly dried out. The choice of tyres to have then were soft slicks. When the weather data gets released I'll do shortened versions of the 8 sessions using the autosim weather program for people to have a go with.

I've had a slight problem with the GTWebBack track in the rain as non shows. Everything is ok at spa with surface water etc but not at the GTWeb track. It wont be a problem but it's just nice to see the spray and lines. How is everyone elses?

Just on the slight off chance should any of you come across someone called FRR Benj (unlikely as there a GT3 Z4) ,but he had quite bad lag at times earlier, kept freezing in middle of the track n so on  Wink
